   Not impressed at all. Used these for a house sale after they were recommended. Communication was very poor from start to finish, the conveyancing assistant we had left the company part way though and we only found out by the ‘out of office’ reply we got to an email. I don’t recall the solicitors making contact throughout the whole process off of their own back, every bit of communication we had was in response to my wife or I chasing for updates etc. Communication became slightly better after we complained to the conveyancing solicitor who happened to be a partner in the business. We instructed them to complete the sale for us and asked for it to be rushed through as we had a cash buyer and no chain involved in mid August and the sale completed at the beginning of December.

   Someone recommended that firm to me, first impressions was good but after not at all. In my case Darcey not doing anything specific, (especially in court) not recommended her at all . Usually solicitor must work for you not be in favour to others side in financial situation. In difficult family matters Darcy Letham has all proof and documents and not used even not updated to court- tell me is " not relevant" - (full-time mum for 17years with 2 long term health issues , 2 girls , and other side- person who hide money, private pension and a car , not paying nothing for children for years- ) Also is very expensive, especially when I do all form E my self before first hearing. Maybe the firm is good but not in my case, I feel bad that Darcey not fighting harder for me and my girls . My first appointment was with Charlotte P but later Darcey took over my case, My advice to everyone- ask solicitor about experience when taking your case, is very important

   Really great service from the whole team. Our sellers solicitors were an absolute nightmare, but the team at Sills & Betteridge persisted and got results for us. The whole team pulled together so we had a point of contact every day even when days off, annual leave and early finishes were happening, there was always someone to answer our questions. We're so grateful to Ed, Charlotte and Ellie for all their efforts. We're so in love with our new home, and will be recommending the team to our family and friends, as *hopefully* we'll be in this home forever.
