As shocking as ever. Another parcel was ment to arrive again today and it never turned up. I just hope it arrives before xmas. This company need looking into, nevermind evri.
3 times now Yodel have delivered parcels to my home. Put the parcel at the side of the house not easily visible. No email to say it'd been delivered. No note in the letter box. Because I have terminal brain cancer I wouldn't have been much. Very disappointed with the service you provided. The last parcel was wet through as well.
Is there any way to give reading in minus??? Shocking attempts x 3 to deliver documented on the tracking website whereas no one attempted, got 2 cameras recording live 24/7 and a ring bell. No attempt to call on phone to confirm address if any difficulty finding it... Perfect example of real life scam. Extreme sarcastic and rushed attitude by some Indian dude on helpline - more like a prank recording. "Sir you need to make and account, check tomorrow and it will be held at the depot for 10 days ... Bla bla..., but no details of why it was an unsuccessful delivery. Needless to say the depot is always minimum 52 minutes drive away. Very shameful attitude and extremely frustrating experience... I have to think 10 times before ordering even via amazon now because they also use yodel sometimes... Probably return to old days of shopping and avoid online shopping altogether...
Utterly incompetent!!! For 2 days i have been waiting for my parcel, 2 hour window provided for end of day, time comes and goes, live chat tells me to wait until 9pm! I wait, nothing, i check again and now shows parcel was taken back to york depot, (45 mins away) at the beginning of my 2 hr window! Both days! No attempts made. No point in the live chat unless you want sarcasm and attitude, they said "we all know yodel deliver 7 until 9pm monday to sat so just wait and if its not there it will be there tomorrow“! Got told this yesterday and today. Shocking!!!! Shame on you
It's been 3 weeks since they have last failed to deliver my parcel. 3 weeks of checking when they would reattempt it. 3 weeks of trying to get in contact with them. 3 weeks of wondering why the driver didn't ring my front door and dropped ONE missed call while I happened to be weeing and wouldn't answer when I returned his call exactly 3 minutes later. 1 week since the birthday that would've been made more special with the gift they failed deliver. I hope to God my next online orders are not delivered through Yodel. What a disgraceful company. All of their automated methods of customer service and contact absolutely reek of dodging accountability. You can't convince me anyone there actually knows what's going or what they're doing. This has never happened with Royal Mail or Amazon or even Evri. And to see there are so many other negative reviews doesn't make me any happier and doesn't make me feel validated. It just reminds me that Yodel is abysmal.
Lost 2 of my parcels,and can't talk face to face with a person. Terrible business stay well clear. Emailed the complaints department and they just pass you from pillar to post. Still not got my parcels after 2 weeks.
This company has managed to be much worse than Hermes / EVRI . Made an order through VERY. They don’t notify you of any deliveries. Now they are telling me to pick up from their depot that’s a good 50 minute drive away. I’ve tried to reschedule for next day but there’s still not delivered. On calling them I’m told that yes it’s been rescheduled for the agreed date , but the depot just decided to leave my parcel. I need to go back to the depot again. This defeats the whole purpose of online shopping and it’s convenience. Worst service . Will avoid every company that uses them .
Absolutely poor delivery service!!! I have been home all day waiting for this delivery to check my tracking updates for it to tell me “ Sorry we missed you, We have left a calling card”!!! No driver has been to my house to deliver my parcel! Shocking I would never use this company again far to many problems! This has happened more than 1 time!!!
Terrable delivery service, guy didnt knock on door, rammed package in letter box, it didnt fit, he stood back to photo of it hanging out, then tried to hammer package though, we was in and everything caught on cctv. We opened door to enquire what he was doing his excuse was its my first day. He damaged door and letter box. Yodal will be responsible for repair or replacement of damage items legal action my be taken for criminal damage.
Yodel tracking reports that their driver delivered my parcel by leaving it in a “safe place”. Actually, the driver left the parcel on a table in a public place, where the parcel could very easily have been stolen. Our reception was open and manned, but the driver didn’t bother to take it to the desk. Alternatively, the driver could have called me using my mobile number which was clearly printed on the label by the sender - and I would have come out to receive it. The driver didn’t do that either. Thankfully, the parcel wasn’t stolen and was found several hours later by our cleaner and then passed to me as I was going home. This was shockingly poor practice by the Yodel driver. When I tried to contact Yodel to ask a manager to speak to the driver concerned, their phone desk and webchat were both unmanned - despite being advertised as open until 10pm. Like the majority of other reviewers, I am reporting a critical opinion about Yodel’s delivery standards and their poor customer service. However, are they listening and reacting appropriately? Sadly, given that delivery problems are ongoing, that seems unlikely.
