   Avoid!! Avoid!! Avoid!! Non professional people school girls working there. They released kitchen which cost 9k to my client from my credit account without my knowledge!!! I find out about it only when received letter to pay the balance. Luckily my client return the money. Don't feel safe with this company and not using them anymore.

   My partner and I purchased a property last year and made a decision to replace our previous kitchen with something more modern. Based on recommendations from a contractor who was doing some work at our property we decided to consider Howdens. The contractor assured us that Howdens provides high quality kitchens at competitive prices and that they've installed many of their kitchens. After visiting a few kitchen showrooms earlier, we went through a very similar process of booking design appointment at the Howdens Charlton branch. Design appointment wasn't too different from other places we've visited before. Our builder was able to start kitchen installation sooner than the other kitchen providers, so we decided to go with Howdens. There were a few red flags during the whole process: - Our builder was surprisingly keen to go with Howdens and discouraged choosing other brands. - The price breakdown of the kitchen wasn't transparent (We received a few separate quotes making it difficult to understand the cost of the kitchen). - There was no contract from Howdens side, we had to purchase the kitchen via our builders account. After reading this statement from Howdens website we still decided to go ahead: "We are trade only to ensure our products are installed to the highest standard, so you cannot buy from Howdens without a trade account." Sadly our excitement of getting a beautiful new kitchen ended up being a stressful experience ending up with ongoing disappointment with our choice. The quality of the kitchen didn't match what we were expecting and have paid for. The contractor installing the kitchen has disappeared without finishing remaining work. After a year of struggle we are living with a badly installed/unfinished kitchen. No other contractors are willing to finish remaining work and sadly there's nothing Howdens can do to fix our issues. If you’re not a trader I recommend staying away from this brand. At first Howdens tried to come up with a solution to this problem but then cut communication with us without providing any help. I'm leaving this review so other people don't fall for similar experiences and misleading Howdens marketing. Please do proper research and go with reputable brands that are able to guarantee high quality results.

   We recently had our kitchen & bookcase designed by Georgina Arnold at Howdens Charlton branch. Since our first appointment, Georgia has been the most helpful, solution-oriented & proved to be the most knowledgeable along the process. She gave us the best advice and we never felt any hard sale. Quite the contrary, she made sure our budget was well respected and even during fitting she was always approachable to answer our fitter’s questions. She was very proactive in providing us with last minute missing pieces, made our life a lot easier. As anyone who’ve gone through a renovation will appreciate how stressful it is, for us Georgia has been an absolute god-sent & star of this experience.

We really appreciated that she was always open and available to discuss any questions or queries, and helped us out promptly. We felt really cared for and listened to all the way through the process. We're very grateful for such a pleasant and smooth customer service that she provided. Thank you again for our beautiful kitchen!

   Terrible service and total waste of time. We had a staff member named Michael take measurements and create a kitchen design. After the follow up consultation he promised to send costs but instead completely ignored all communication. Our builder visited the store to follow up and ask why he was ignoring our calls and he simply shrugged and grinned. Highly unprofessional. This was probably a blessing because there are better branches close by who were much more thorough. So dont bother wasting your time with this one.

   Excellent service. Jason designed our kitchen. Came up with some great ideas. If something didn't fit, he would suggest something different that maybe I had not thought of. Really friendly guy. Had a blast designing with him. Summer has helped with any questions or returns. It was a pleasure dealing with this branch. Would definitely recommend anyone to go here.
