    After trying to design a kitchen with Wren and Howdens but not being impressed with designs or service, we decided to give magnet a go. Peter spent 3 hours with working on a great design and really listening to what we wanted. He was patient, innovative, and understanding throughout the whole process! Haven’t gone forward with anything yet so can’t speak to anything past the initial appointment, but service far surpasses anything we got at other places.

    I walked into the showroom today looking at the kitchens and to have a quote I had no appointment booked. There was a lady named Dijile, who was assisting me. We went through everything step by step and very thorough which was very nice, I was getting asked questions I had not even thought about! While sitting in my design appointment her manger Satvir was having a conversation with Dijile, he was very rude and abrupt, I felt very uncomfortable in the tone and manner he was speaking with. This is very unprofessional, I will be escalating it further as it is not nice to be little your employees infront of other people.

    Spent 2 hours there designing a kitchen (we weren’t asked for much input other than door colours and counter tops), were told that we needed to have made a decision and agreed by the end of the next day to secure that price because the promo was ending (fair enough) but have still not received a quote or any design render via email. It’s a week later. We were clear we had a quote from Wren in writing and designs (amazing service, input all the way through the process). No quote from Magnet has made it impossible to compare and make a decision so have gone with Wren. We were sent a form a couple of days after the appointment asking for our feedback and we filled it in honestly…the store manager has since called us to gather further feedback but was very rude, didn’t want to hear any feedback, and was insistent on talking to us like idiots who don’t understand a kitchen design process. Disappointing service all round from a big brand.

    What an absolute scam. *Do not use this company and specifically do not work with Peter at the Walthamstow branch.* -Multiple parts of the kitchen we missing when delivered or damaged -Despite specifically speaking with Peter about the dimension of our microwave, the unit we ended up with does not fit it. We asked if there was a way to resolve this and he said they could provide a deeper shelf ("as a sign of good will"). The shelf arrived the same depth as the last one and he said 'oh that must just be how they are made now. No apologies, no solutions. -The quality of the units is fine, but honestly no better than Wren which is half the cost. -Despite the amount of money you pay them, they ask you to triple check all the dimensions (despite Magnet coming to our house to take measurements twice). It was really a terrible experience. The customer service is atrocious and they are not solution oriented. Cannot stress enough, do not recommend.

    They say all is well that ends well. At least I finally got my refund from Magnet, with only a six week delay. I also now know not to use them ever again. Guys at customer service in Darlington are nice, they sympathised with how poor the service at Walthamstow had been.

    The kitchens are nice, but the service is astonishingly bad. They have caused us significant grief with having our kitchen designed and delivered. It took numerous attempts to get the design right, as the guy we dealt with (Amarpaul) kept writing the measurements in wrong. When they delivered the kitchen, they left a load of the components in their van. We've now just discovered from our builder that they didn't deliver the cooker hood. Probably worth using another branch if you decide to go with Magnet, to avoid the ineptitude of the people working here.

    We also looked at other suppliers: Wren - far too flashy sales approach; Ikea - too complicated to arrange installation; Wickes - dirty showroom, Mobalpa & Habitat - too pricey so we followed Which report advice. Magnet Walthamstow were very professional, accepted a major change in our ideas half way through the design process, didn't apply a lot of pressure and instilled confidence - something which the media leads you to doubt with kitchen installations. We chose standard units but maximised our counter surface area and opted for a Minerva counter top - definitely worth the extra expense. Despite Covid, the installers were flexible, minor problems were quickly resolved and installation went smoothly. Overall, they seem pretty recommendable to us based on our experience.

    My experience working with Imran at Magnet Walthamstow has been fantastic. The Dunham white kitchen is solid, well made and looks great, and the customer service is hands down the best I've experienced when buying a kitchen. It has been a pleasure to work with Imran, who has been incredibly helpful at every step of the design process. The kitchen was installed seamlessly because of his meticulous design planning, and I cannot recommend Imran or Magnet Walthamstow more highly.

    A truly fantastic service and outstanding quality product. I needed a kitchen for my new 5m kitchen diner extension. I visited the Walthamstow / Blackhorse Road Magnet showroom and I was immediately impressed with the set up and with Howard, the manager. Howard is an expert in his field and it became clear very early that Magnet were a professional outfit compared to the likes of Wren. I had my first design meeting with Imran. Imran understood my requirements and was absolutely fantastic, extremely knowledgable and drew a very practical and pragmatic design which exceeded my expectations. Imran visited my property to measure and was great with his communications, timeliness and always responsive to my queries. The quality of the product is top class. My utility room cabinets are from Howdens - the quality of Magnet is far superior - can see why a magnet won the which awards! For such a large undertaking of work Magnet were so easy to work with and it was really enjoyable. Absolutely delighted with my kitchen. Thank you so much Imran and Howard!!
