I felt spoiled here; Staff was very friendly, the Prices were very cheap and the Snacks were good (was not used to the Sheer Size of the Nachos). Went to watch Back to the Future (on the 10.11.) Had a great evening! Just found out this place is gonna shut down :(

Very cheap and had very comfy seats! Staff are always amazing and friendly. Extremely sad this place is closing soon :(

Facilities are getting poorer and poorer. Loads of empty space through the venue. Ticket machines taped off at entrance. Arcade games stripped away and now just a huge blank space at the entrance to the cinema. Cinema is dark and gloomy. AC is atrocious in each of the rooms, you literally sweat inside if weather is even remotely warm. Lift seems to always be out of order. Shame to be honest. Such a prime location for a cinema to thrive and it seems upper management is choosing to invest very little into this venue. Seems to be a mentality of let’s see how much we can make whilst spending as little as we can to improve or hell, even maintain the quality of the venue. On the positive side, toilets are clean. Sound is good. Nice screen, although a little darker than the local Cineworld even when compared to the much older queens link branch. Rant done.

The smallest of the 3 Aberdeen cinemas, the cheapest too if booked online. The interior is quite dated and dark, but it is clean and the seats are comfortable enough. Generally speaking, the projectors are of better quality than Cineworld's, although there's not much of a difference unless you are watching a subtitled film - the text tends to be much more readable at the Vue. The selection of confectionery available is quite broad, but it is slightly more expensive than Cineworld's. There also isn't a loyalty programme like Cineworld's Unlimited. Screens 1-4 are on the upper level of the Cinema, with 5-7 being on the lower. Screens 1 & 2 are the biggest screens. Screen 1 has quite a high wall in front of the first row of VIP seats, which can be a bit difficult to look over. I'd recommend either going one back or one forward from the first row of VIP seats. The Screen in Screen 3 is awkwardly placed, with there being a high wall in front of the screen. I would recommend being as far back as possible in this screen, and the wheelchair seats are pretty much unusable (The last photo I've attached is Screen 3 Row G - I wouldn't recommend any further forward than this). The rest of the screens are all fairly decent and don't have any 'awful' seats. There have been posters on the doors stating the air condition isn't currently working - which has been the case for months. Although, the cinema tends to be on the cold side most of the time. Staff are always friendly and films tend to run for longer here than the Cineworld's, and they show older films and BFI releases more often - definitely worth a look online to see if there's anything interesting coming up. You can park in the NCP Car Park for Β£6 for 6 hours if you get the staff to validate your ticket, or the cinema is easily reached by bus, as it is just off Union Street. The train station is a short (but steep) walk away.

I'm almost 18, I'm 6'3 and management asked for ID for a 15 rated film, they assumed I was 14 or under which is insane. Incredibly poor judgement and quite frankly rude. Perhaps it's because I'm English eh.

Favourite cinema in Aberdeen. I see all my latest blockbusters here. It’s very central to Union Street. The cinema has large screens and the viewing experience is perfect. One downside is the interior could be doing with a revamp.

Considering the price it's really nice cinema. Toilets are very nice and clean so as the ticket and snacks place. However I didn't think the seats were tidy much. They were ok. Screen and sound quality was awesome

Awesome place. From the moment you enter you know you are in for a treat. Total adherence to the social distancing and Covid guideline rules. Cheaper to book for ticket online. Popcorn is awesome and still crispy and fresh after 3 days at home. The movie hall is well spaced sitting. Not crowded. Totally had a great night and experience. Lovely place for a date, family outing or just flying solo to give yourself that treat you know you deserve. Toilet available. The staffs are super awesome ( when I had my hands full they carried my snacks for me all the way to my seat. You don’t find staffs like that anywhere) and always looking to assist in making sure you are treated like the movie star.
