I asked for fresh large fish but they said that the fish on display was fresh. It was nasty as it was cooked 2 hrs ago . The chips were like cooked hour ago. Tastless Wasted 12 pounds on it.
Don't waste your time with the normal kebab, it just a 1 size pitta which is actually small, pay the extra £1 and get the toner and chips, even if you dont want chips, at least you will get a decent amount of meat.
A real change with new fryer I’m afraid the quality is down. Fish is chunky and nice but zero flavour and batter thick and soggy. Mostly went in the bin. Not going back. Owner needs to hire proper experienced fryer or do it himself because his fish is always cooked right.
Always my go to shop for fish and chips. Haddock is worth the money. Freshly cooked and crispy great combination with chips they know how to cook fish compared to other places. Great customer service from workers and the owner Yusuf. Update: Tried mixed kebab with salad. Nice moist, tasty lamb kebab as well as chicken went really well with the salad.
This is a great fish and chips shop. Love the 2 large fish and chips with either mushy peas or curry sauce for £16.99. Our favourite. However, I think the owners changed and before the large was proper large fish and chips. The new owner has started to shrink them, but keeping the length cutting them thinly. Plus you use to get a proper large bag of chips, now you get a box and that does not equate to the same qty. I understand costs have probably gone up, and so instead of putting up prices, has cut back on quantity. There is a lot great food on the menu with some great kebabs, puffed sweet naan bread and a Turkish menu.
This place was nice. I wouldn't say something amazing that you have to come again and again; but it was nice. I puechased the chicken with the curry sauce. It was nice and fresh. Price wasn't too bad considering the portion was big.
Stopped off tonight for Fish and Chips, my husband went in and had great service. The fish was really fresh, big portions and really tasty, well worth a visit.
One of the best traditional chippy’s in the area by far, lovely staff great gaffa, good food, great range, fairly priced considering the quality and quantity, delivery available.
Lovely kebab here. Shop is nice and clean. Can tell the food is better in quality than your local average chippy.
