Without doubt the actors in Much Ado About Nothing are talented and extremely professional. The setting of Birkenhead Priory was atmospheric and seemed idea for outside theatre but I think where you were sitting made a huge difference. We were at the back and found hearing the words difficult. Added to the difficulty was welding or drilling on the dock front and drilling or welding from the business on the other side. The seagulls seemed to be fighting over something throughout and the lady taking photos every 5 seconds with a camera that made a noise like a machine gun, certainly didn't help. The audience at the front roared with laughter which was lovely to hear, but alas we couldn't join in. It wouldn't stop us watching another performance from this Theatre Company but perhaps we'd get there earlier and maybe choose a more peaceful setting.

Just got back from seeing “Much Ado About Nothing” at Birkenhead Priory. It was an excellent production and I was very impressed by the talented young actors who brought real life and energy to their roles. A very enjoyable evening which we will repeat in the future! Not to be missed!

Wow, just back from seeing 'Joseph K' (based on Franz's Kafka's The Trial) at the Hope street theatre in Liverpool. How this gifted group of actors can bring such a cocktail of emotions on every scene of this play is pure talent, they give frustration, exasperation, contempt, sadness and laughter, at times, all of them in one go! The play was very profound and leave you contemplating why we sometimes accept what the system dictates and why fighting it is like swimming against the current. Thoroughly enjoyed it as the the acting was superb and the technical effects and sound were spot on. Looking forward to their next performance.

What an outstanding evening for my first experience of Shakespeare live! Love's Labour's Lost from Off The Ground Theatre was fantastic, we enjoyed every minute off it. With an abundance of talented actors and a fantastic direction the adaptation of this comedy was truly and utterly, enjoyable fun. We highly recommend it and we are looking forward to more! Olé!

Very disappointed in their lack of communication. Bought two adult tickets and a child's ticket but was unable to attend due to a family emergency. Emailed to ask if I could see an alternative performance or get a refund- a month later and still no response. Edited to say thank you very much for responding to my review (still not sure why my emails never arrived) and refunding me for the tickets we were unable to use. Hopefully next summer...

We saw Midsummer’s Night Dream at Gawthorpe Hall, sat in the pouring rain, watching an outstanding cast perform in the most difficult of conditions. The phrase ‘The show must go on’, was exemplified. It is a sign of the skills of the cast that I forgot that I was sat in a pacamac, under an umbrella and cover, and was transported to a world of magic and comedy. I cannot praise the cast enough.
