I recently had a brain and C-spine MRI here as an NHS patient. It was excellent - on time, comfortable, friendly and efficient. I have had private scans here in the past and was treated no differently as an NHS patient.

Took my daughter to see a gynaecologist for potential endometrioses. After waiting 25mns in the waiting room, I asked the reception how much longer we'd need to wait. It happens that the consultant was unaware we had been waiting 25 minutes. This was the start of a shambolic contradictory diagnosis, with an violating examination, with no communication, which left us feel like that consultant did not know what she was talking about and that we would not want to ever see that consultant again, especially not if my daughter had to get operated on. Then we were told to book a scan at the reception. The receptionist, to cut a long story short, booked the scan 7 days later, but in another hospital without telling us. We found out a week later, when we got to the wrong place. We had to wait another week to get the scan. This is whilst being really worried about the outcome (cancer? cyst? Pelvic inflammatory, disease? endometrioses?). We never received any text or email confirmation for the scan, no address, nothing, both times. They were really quick at sending the bills though! My son also got a similar experience for a consultant to do with an operation under my private medical insurance with the Blackheath hospital and got operated at the BMI hospital. The consultant thought he was there for a hernia and almost performed the wrong operation. The nurses forgot to apply the aesthetic cream to numb the place for the injection, etc, etc. The only good thing about going private is that you get to see someone relatively faster than under NHS but the NHS consultant seem to be so much more capable, and bothered than the private consultants. It's a joke so stay away from that Sloane hospital and the Blackheath one!!!!

I was diagnosed with adenomyosis here a couple of weeks ago and the doctor calmly said that it is NOTHING and I shouldn’t even think about it too much. I was told that I am healthy and there are no signs of fertility problems. I went to another clinic specialising in this condition and I learned that I do in fact have problems a d it is in fact not nothing and I should be doing something about it right now before it’s too late. I would 100% recommend you stay away from this place. I’m in shock that doctors can be that ignorant about such serious issues. You should be ashamed of yourselves at least
