I imported a Rayburn stove from Sheffield, England to The Blue Mountains, Australia. This is a big, heavy, delicate and very expensive item. With no knowledge whatsoever of any freight company in England I was quite nervous. After several enquiries I settled on Freight World Despatch. I could not have picked a better freight company and one man in particular took a personal interest in this matter. They personally picked the stove up from the store in Sheffield. They crated the stove up so it was extremely well protected for the whole process. This ½ ton item was jostled and bumped around by forklift trucks on every stage of its journey to Australia and it survived perfectly. Every email I sent to FDW was answered immediately and I was kept up to date on the whole process, from woe to go! If you have a large, heavy, delicate and expensive item that needs freighting to anywhere in the world, these are the people to use. Don’t go past them.
