   Ive been with trdex for about 4 year had a person hit me while I was stood still and the women who was driving made a mess of her own car whent home reported what happened and the women on other end of phone asked for photo s of her car and picture of my truck where she hit it and there opened and closed the case then finds out theses have paid out and put it as a fault claim as I told them and had a witness but not interested don't answer there phone was on phone over a hour and got no where 5 thousand 14 pence just to get screwd over I will be taking it further as ive been done out pocket when it wasnt my fault

   Absolutely shambles of a policy, come 3 hours away to buy a car and when I’ve come to add it onto my MID it’s under review? now I’m half way down country stuck with no car and no trains

   Tradex used be good. Another broker have taken over now. I don't about other places but Leeds branch has been replaced with this Pontefract branch. These lot are a bunch of jokers. Avoid like the plague. Cannot ever get through to anyone. Completely careless. Zero customer service. They don't even bother sending a renewal through. Nevermind needing help or making changes. AVOID, you've been warned!!

   6 Years these idiots ripped us off for, im talking £1200-£1500 a month for straight forward policy and we kept paying it. After years they demanded £10k up front for a policy, not anymore mate! Got a quote 3 times less and paid monthly I can finally breath! So much stress and hassle with them couldn't expand after 4 drivers yet paying them thousands, useless phone lines, already been awarded money for multiple complaints great £50 really hits the spot. Avoid this clowns you will live to regret it, new insurer unlimited cars, no insurance group restrictions, no driver amount restrictions, 4 x as much cover for in transit and personal stock, my lord why on earth did I stick with you.

   I am not one to leave anyone negative feedback, but if you're wanting Motor Trade cover absolutely avoid this company. Their New Business Department are the only people in the company that you're able to get in touch with so they can take your money. Anything after that, just goes downhill. So here's some of my experiences with this company since joining them in June 2022: 1. Impossible to make amendments to your policy as you can't get hold of anyone (basic thing like changing address) 2. Limited stock allowed on MID (I have 5 cars I'm allowed to put on when initially taking out the policy) but I was told by somebody called Luke, that later on down the line they would up this no problem (load of fibs). 3. Anytime you use their online MID portal, quiet often 'a problem persists, somebody will look within 24 hours and come back to you' and I swear, they never come back to you. 4. Got through to someone FINALLY on Friday at 4.49pm to make changes and conveniently at 5.01pm the call failed? I went to call back and guess what? THEIR OFFICES WERE NOW CLOSED! They haven't called back since. 5. Completely unprofessional and incompetent 6. They are more expensive than most insurers, and usually my logic is, pay peanuts and you get monkeys. So I tend to always pay that bit more to avoid these things. But guess what, seems I got monkeys. Tradex, I am very sad to leave such a review and will give you a chance to put this right and I will be happy to remove this as I don't look to try and damage reputations but what I have experienced is not acceptable.    Disappointed that I’ve only been contacted once in almost 3 months. My accident was at the end of October 2022. The only time to make contact was to give a really low estimate for a non-fault claim, which would have left me £3000 down and unable to continue to work. I am a taxi driver and getting back every penny I am owed as a non fault claim is essential. After explaining this I was told that I would hear back soon, but after almost 2 months I’ve heard nothing.

   Insurance renewal was very straightforward. I called in the morning and a young lady carefully assisted me through the renewal without a hitch. It was a very pleasant experience dealing via the phone.

   Had a tricky claim to resolve with I thought it would drag on for months and months. I managed to gain direct contact with Lisa Tuppen in the claims dept who I couldn’t fault. The help and support she provided from start to end was second to none, she even managed to resolve our claim on the best possible outcome... and quickly!!!
