Had a pair of large 22kg parcels delivered to my home today by one of your drivers from Newark - probably the friendliest most helpful courier I've met!! Didn't catch his name but consignment number was 79623479 and was delivered this morning 01/12/25. Should have asked for a name to leave feedback but hopefully posting here someone can pass it on.
DX drivers either carnt read or not bothered. I left a note on my front door saying please leave parcels in conservatory at rear of property. so they leave them in the front porch next to a foot path and a main road. it's not that hard it was basic information.
Terrible service. My parcel was ordered 28th April for next day delivery. Still waiting on 2nd May. Takes ages to get through and when you do they make you feel inconvenient was told it would definitely be delivered today but the delivery never turned up.
Been waiting since 24/5/2024 apparently no van, truck can get down my road to deliver and today they lied stating they left a card through the door when I have been home all day!. So let me get this right the council rubbish vans can get down the road, selco and other trade vans but not DX Freight. I called DX Freight Newark no answer then it disconnected. They don't call or knock on the door if they were experiencing any issues. Was told today that the driver apparently left a invisible card! Poor service and it also reflects the retailer as I wont be buying again from Wickes!
Use this company at your peril impossible to get through waited in for 2 days waiting for my delivery tracking numbers do not work said delivery between 9-12 came at 2pm damaged. Came in a lorry not fit for the road and should be locked up on bonfire night. Its a cowboy operation.
They are a discriminative and disgusting company, they delivery dirty products.
Was supposed to receive my delivery yesterday, had someone waiting for it all day for it not to arrive with no message or anything letting me know that it's running late. sent a message with the consignment number last night and still haven't got a reply, got another out for delivery message this morning so had someone waiting yet again nothing. a horrendous service
Delivered on time and the courteous driver helped me extricate my bike from the box before he left, but the box my expensive bicycle was in was in a very battered state, and large rips in the cardboard. Fortunately nothing was damaged.

Delivery was made to my house today. My delivery instructions were to call me 30 mins beforehand so I could get home from work. Notice at 1330 on my phone that their tracker said delivery was made at 1138, signed for and left in safe place. I get home from work at 1710 to find said packages left on my doorstep, where they could have been stolen by anyone driving or walking past. Attempted to call depot but phone just rang and rang. Awful service.
