    What amazing customer service I received today from Isabella , it was completely stress free , very professional and helpful. She went over and beyond to help me to get the cheapest quote. In fact she got it to under half the price of the other quotes offered. She has amazing customer service and brilliant energy thsy you feel from down the phone.     I got a fair quote from them on market comparison site, when I went to their actual website they said to ring them. Once I rang them they said it was because I put in some wrong date which we corrected on the call. The gentleman on the call seemed so sure I don’t stand a chance of finding an insurance quote of anything under £2000 a year at all, when majority of my insurance quotes were below that value even after removing my No claims discount of 2 years, as it was applied to another car. He then denied me any insurance quotes because of a previous profession, which was apparently against their policies for all their insurers. I even made it clear that the last time I was self employed doing that was last year and I don’t intend on doing it in this year. He made it seem like it was some kind of a crime. When it was really film set work as a background artist as a freelance. Something people do in their free time, not a main profession. He simply wouldn’t let me go ahead with any insurance quotes even though their quote shows up for me online on the comparison site. He simply seemed so disinterested in giving an insurance policy to me from the start of the call. I’ve never experienced somebody this brash about irrelevant answers or questions they invited in. Even after holding all of my relevant data already. Ridiculous! He also wasn’t open to having any conversation about my main profession - it’s either what he says or nothing at all. It’s not about what insurance company thinks - it’s the condescending and almost threatening tone. Tried to hit me with “the calls are recorded” when I tried to tell him about my freelance work as background artist being last year’s! Never felt so discriminated in 10 mins in my entire life.

    I had a pleasant experience with Got You Covered. I got a quotation from a price comparison site with GYC have the best price. I called and was pleased to speak with an actual human unlike with my previous insurers. Although it took over an hour to sort things out on the phone. it was time well spent. The agent Manuel was very helpful. Took his time to listen to my situation and scout for the best insurance for me. He also got some added perks like breakdown cover and key cover at no extra cost. I am pleased with the services I got and will recommend Gotyoucovered.

    1 Star — OR 0 if it was AVAILABLE Misleading, Unethical, and Potentially Fraudulent I obtained a quote through Compare The Market from Got You Covered for just over £1,000. As part of that quote, I specifically included No Claims Discount (NCD) protection. Everything appeared straightforward at first. However, once I contacted their sales team, the experience rapidly deteriorated. The representative made persistent efforts to remove the No Claims protection from the policy, despite the fact that it had already been selected in the original quote. It was clear they were trained to discourage customers from adding essential protections, using subtle pressure tactics to make the quote appear more competitive. After going through the process, I was then quoted almost £3,000 over the phone — nearly triple the original online price. There was no valid justification for such a dramatic increase. The entire approach felt deceptive, manipulative, and designed to mislead the customer from the outset. This conduct is not only highly unprofessional but appears to violate FCA regulations regarding transparency, fairness, and the obligation to treat customers honestly. If this is standard practice at Got You Covered, it warrants serious regulatory scrutiny. I would strongly advise others to avoid this company. Their sales methods are misleading, their pricing is inconsistent, and their customer treatment is unacceptable. This is not how a regulated insurance provider should operate.

    Disgrace of an insurance company. Offer the best deals on comparison sites and can’t live up to the original quote. Called up and got quoted stupid money, original quote was £889 for a years policy, upon calling somehow became, “unsuitable/far to expensive” will be skipping past every time I see a quote. Happy to pay an extra £800 elsewhere as that’s the next best thing from an actual company who values their customers. HIGHLY ADVISE TO STEER CLEAR!

    Avoid this company at all costs!! They came up as the cheapest quote on comparison sites but forced me to call and went through all the questions again. Said they couldn't match the quotes online that they offered "as you can't trust those comparison sites anyway". Paid £300 to start my policy. 2 days later I receive 2 letters demanding I pay another £300 immediately as one of the dates (pass date) was wrong (a month later than given). How can they justify those fees? Rang up to cancel and they would only give me a partial refund so lost just short of £100. The woman on the phone was the rudest person I've ever met and put the phone down on me. Joke of a company. Now have to wait 5 - 7 days to get what's left of my deposit back! SCAM!

    They post one price on comparison websites and then boost the price when you call them up. Only just found out this happens to practically everyone. Also the poorest customer service. They promise you a call back and don’t bother calling back unless it’s to initially get you to take out a policy! Spoke to Claire on Friday 11th November in regards to a query with cancelling my policy, never spoke to someone so rude. When I wanted to raise a complaint I was told they don’t have a complaints email address and send it to the generic email address that practically everyone has access to. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

    I have honestly never had such good customer service from an insurance broker. Straight through to someone in the UK who knows what they are doing! Claire H helped me quickly and efficiently. 1 star removed for a fairly costly admin fee for changes to policy but other than that, a fantastic experience.

    Would not honour the quote given on various comparison sites and spoke to me like I was completely stupid on the phone despite asking very reasonable questions. You need to train your call center staff properly - I'm sure the comparison sites would not be happy to hear you're spitting out cheap deals to draw people into a fake sense of a good deal, only to offer them a much higher price upon application. Disgraceful.
