I highly recommend Cheeky Monkey Nursery to all families in the local area. This nursery provides an exceptional environment where children are taught to be kind and polite, and they are encouraged to help each other solve problems. The teachers at Cheeky Monkey Nursery are incredibly dedicated and responsible. I've even seen Jo, the owner, working at the nursery on weekends, which clearly demonstrates the attentiveness and commitment from everyone, from the owner to the teachers. This level of dedication makes me feel very secure and confident in sending my child here. The nursery also keeps parents well-informed through daily updates on their software and face to face. This allows parents to see detailed information about their child's day, including activities, meals, naps, and nappy changes. My son particularly enjoys the weekly PE class (mini athletics) and the music and dance classes. I also heard that the nursery offers private speech and language therapy and one-on-one care for children with special needs. When my child first started at Cheeky Monkey Nursery, his language skills were a bit behind. However, after just six months, he frequently shares stories about his day, makes up his own tales, and sings and dances for us. He has even started opening and holding doors for others, truly becoming a little gentleman. The nursery regularly organizes activities that encourage parent participation. I've observed how hardworking the teachers are; despite their demanding schedules, they remain focused on their work, diligently caring for and educating the children. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Jo, Anita, Marc, Hollie, Chloe, and all the teachers. Your seriousness and hard work are truly touching, and your professionalism is admirable.
Really good nursery, my daughter loves going there, and I can feel she is safe and happy there. The staff is very kind, and the communication is very open and transparent.
We’ve had a really positive experience with this nursery. The staff are kind and caring, and I genuinely feel like my son gets a lot of individual attention, almost like he has one dedicated carer looking after him. They keep the children busy with a wide range of activities, and it’s lovely to see how engaged and happy the kids are. You can tell the owner really cares and takes pride in the place, which reflects in the atmosphere and the quality of care. Highly recommend

From the moment my daughter joined, the difference in her happiness, confidence, and development has been truly remarkable. Before finding The Cheeky Monkeys, we had a terrible experience at another nursery that provided no support or guidance for my daughter's autism and special needs. However, Jo went above and beyond to make space for her in her setting, ensuring she would receive the care and attention she truly deserved. That level of dedication is rare, and I will forever be thankful for it. The staff—Marc, Tiger Lilly, Chloe, and every single team member—have been nothing short of amazing. They have provided my daughter with unwavering support, patience, and encouragement. Within just a month, I have seen incredible progress in her communication skills—she went from saying no words to now trying to vocalise and form words! She comes home every day happy, which is the greatest reassurance any parent could ask for. The level of care and resources provided at The Cheeky Monkeys day nursery is outstanding. My daughter receives weekly one-on-one speech and language sessions, has access to an external dance teacher to support her sensory needs, and benefits from personalised one-on-one assistance. The daily updates about her activities make me wish I could be a child again—there is so much love, creativity, and thought put into every day at the nursery. I only wish I had found The Cheeky Monkeys day nursery sooner! Jo and her team treat every child with the same love and care they would receive at home, setting a standard that all nurseries should follow. My child went to cheeky monkeys from a very young age. Some of the nursery staff are pleasent and great at their job. However management are very unprofessional, stereotypical and unsupportive. They did not accomadate to my childs SENDS at all. I'm extremely glad hes no longer there!
The staff at both locations are professional warming and take needs of the child's individual needs accordingly. Their communication is excellent, they tend to all different varieties of learning and workshops with free resources for us parents. They don't judge you they always try to help you. Their environment is warming and makes you feel comfortable. They keep you updated and they always find ways you can progress with your child outside of nursery. One of the best experiences for me as a first time mother. I am very grateful for those help and commitment to me a parent and for my child. Highly recommended, there is diversity equality and passion 100%
The staff are so lovely and attentive. My child really blossomed and looked forward to daycare everyday, which is a testament to everyone at Cheeky Monkeys. I was nervous to leave my child at daycare for the first time ever, but the staff were so nice that it eased my nerves. I would definitely recommend this nursery!
Cheeky monkeys day nursery is a really good place were I was an apprentice doing my NVQ 2 child care I have lots of support from all the team. I was sad when my contract finished I enjoyed my experience at cheeky monkeys nursery.
