Today I had my first operation requiring anaesthetic at the Runnymede Hospital. The entire experience was very smooth, from being greeted by reception, checking in, having my temp etc. measured by the nurse, the anaesthetic and aftercare, which were incredible. The room was pristine, everyone was so helpful and reassured me with any worries I had. The catering team were fantastic, and the food was delicious and very well received after fasting for a long time! I cannot thank the team enough for their care and support today ❤️

I'm so glad I chose to have my surgery at The Runnymede hospital even though it's a distance from my home in Hampshire .From my 1st visit to being discharged at the weekend following surgery I cannot speak highly enough of every member of staff. The reception team. X-ray/MRI , Shaima in pre assessment and the nurses on both wards .The ward hostesses were very kind and nothing was too much trouble. Mr Khaleel instilled confidence and truly involved me in a plan of care beyond my initial surgery. I would like to say a very special thank you to Lynne who looked after me , especially as I wasn't as well as I could have been.I felt safe and cared for. She was amazing and even the following day although not officially assigned to my care made she made sure that I was doing well .The continuity of care was much appreciated. Once again thank you everyone

Staff were very kind, helpful, and respectful. I felt very well supported, and felt that staff did their utmost to support my autonomy and dignity. I felt very well looked after, and that staff went out of their way to provide top of the line care. Throughout my stay the food was great, as well as the utilities and service. Upon discharge I felt ready to leave and confident in my care.

Visited the Runnymede hospital mainly for physio. My allocated physiotherapist was Joseph who has been amazing. He really listened to me throughout my visits and adjusted my exercises to match my many varied needs. He’s clearly very knowledgeable, in addition to exercises he also told my about shockwave therapy which is a noninvasive therapy (much better than blanket steroid injections typically offered by other therapists for pain management) and promotes actual healing. If I ever needed physiotherapy again I wouldn’t hesitate to book an appointment with Joseph. Thank you so much for everything!

I found the medical staff and others to be very polite. My mother was treated with respect at all times, and the staff took into account any worries or concerns that she had. The physiotherapist played an important part in her recovery after the operation by encouraging me to get up and walk. The consultant and nurses were very attentive and kind, and I am happy with the overall result of her surgery. Runnymede Hospital provides an excellent service. I was extremely happy with all members of staff, including those at the main reception. I would also like to mention the porters, who were very kind and wheeled my mother to the first floor for her pre-operation and during the procedure. I would highly recommend the hospital to anyone looking for excellent service and care.

I was seen by the consultant Mr. Agrawal on Wednesday because of unbearable pain due to Kidney Stone as shown by the CT Scan. I was operated on the next day. I am so glad I chose that option as the stone was breached and would prolong my agony. I am now pain free and back to normal. The care was excellent and very professional from outpatients to discharge! The staff was so warm and so caring. Extra care was given to me as a patient with round the clock checks until my discharge the following day. The food was excellent too. Highly recommended!

Came in today for a consultation. The only reason why I’m rating it as 2 stars is because an assistant nurse at the front desk kept coughing so badly! how are you preventing the spread of covid 19 and respiratory illnesses if your members of staff are coughing so badly without a mask on!!! Poor hygiene.. sometimes its better to stay at home if you’re not feeling well, especially if you work at a hospital with vulnerable patients around.

I was a patient at the Runnymede at the beginning of September and I would like to thank all the staff that were involved in my pathway as a patient. The departments that I came into contact with were so friendly and professional. I really appreciated their care and support, but ultimately I felt safe in their professional hands. So I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff that cared for me, you are all a credit to your profession.

I have been dealing with an ongoing condition for quite some time and have been referred to dr. Trickett at Runnymede Hospital through a Private Insurer. Following my first consultation here, I’ve been scheduled for further surgery under full anaesthetic. During my very short stay at the hospital all my experiences were very good: from the pre-op personnel to the specialist’s visits and to the nurses who looked after me until I was let go home – everyone was considerate, professional and kind. My surgery went very well and then I just had to deal with weeks of recovery. I’ve been assisted all along the way by an amazing nurse, Mrs. Raquel whose recovery approach and kindness have made all this experience so much better. Things went smooth and pain free. And I felt I could reach out any moment for any problem that would arise. I am now in the last stages of my recovery. I cannot express in words all my gratitude towards her. I feel that she has improved my life’s quality so much at this delicate point. So, I just wanted to give my thanks again! I would recommend her to anyone any day.

Thumbs up for Matt Saayman, physiotherapist, who has been guiding my rehabilitation. He absolutely is the best professional in his field. After a major ski injury and a following successful operation in Runnymede hospital (by Mr Hassan), he managed to get me back on my feet with his intense but well programmed therapy within 3 months and I was 90% recovered within 6 months while a year was given for this very complex injury. Besides the physical therapy, Matt did a fab job keeping my spirit up, motivating me to do the very best and cheer me when it wasn't going so well. Thanks to him I kept motivated to progress and to follow training instructions all the way.
