Ordered via just eat waited over 10 mins for them to accept the order it then said just eat are contacting them to give them a nudge my order then got cancelled but taken my money!
I ordered from here last night through uber eats to be told by my driver that when he arrived the store was closed and they wouldn't be able to give me any food. It was a bit disappointed as I would've expected the order to have been cancelled if it was too late to put in for a delivery but instead the order was accepted and I was left with no food.
I ordered from here a few months back when it originally opened and I must say it was the best fish and chips I ever had. But unfortunately like a lot of other catering companies it fell. The food was not the same quality. It was in all honesty inedible. However I do know that sometimes mistakes can happen so it won't dishearten me from trying the food again... until I saw the replies from the owner... I have no idea where the kind male I spoke to went but I can confirm this is not the same person... I would avoid this fish bar at all cost if not because the downward spiral of the food then of the rudeness of the owner towards those who just didn't like the food.
Twice they've short changed me in here now. Watch your change And nasty food.. battered sausage is that over cooked nearly broke my teeth. Grim never again thought I'd give them a second chance but yakk. Just because something is freshly cooked doesn't mean it should be burnt also I trust the person who came to the shop
How you get an overcooked battered sausage and schollop is beyond me, and asked for a mixed meat burger. Was one meat, over an hour for delivery at 1.1 mile away. Will Not Order again, chips and keema naan were average, and chips all stuck to the paper. But will certainly not be ordering again.
I ordered food and didn’t get it til 1 hour and half later. However, the person who was taking calls tonight was polite and explained that they are busy. I did not mind waiting. The food was nice, the batter on the fish was crispy and wasn’t at all greasy. I would like a small option for fish though... great price for amount of food.
