   This community hospital is excellent. Stefania at reception is warm, welcoming, and highly efficient. Tatiana, the radiographer, is exceptional—her kindness, compassion, and expertise go above and beyond. She truly has skills beyond her pay grade, and I hope her talent, ability, and dedication are properly recognised. Outstanding level of service every time!

   Went today to take wife for x-ray on her hip, I had appt for 12th on knee which couldn't attend. So asked if could change it and they fitted me in today. Excellent service. .. from all staff there. And also our doctor for getting us seen so soon.

   Very poor communication nobody told us anything about my wife all the time she was in Walton , she was told she would be going home the next day , after breakfast still sitting in a chair in the day room after being evacuated from her bed until 1545hrs Waiting for her pills coming from St .Peters. As her next of kin I would have expected a nurse or even a doctor to explain to me what is happening and what to expect when she got home

   Can't fault this place. I was told by St Peter's my nan wouldn't walk again following a stroke and that she needed a hoist to be moved. She was sent here to free up the hospital bed whilst residential or home care was put in place for discharge. Natasha saw my nan is quite strong and thought she would see what they can do. They didn't use a hoist once whilst she was there and was discharged able to get herself out of bed and walk short distances with a frame. The nurse staff were always helpful and polite and the OT Jenny made sure everything was in place for nans discharge. This could have gone very differently had it not been I was away the weekend St Peter's wanted to discharge her!

   My mum spent 6 weeks here. The staff looked after her very well and took care of her while she recovered. While no one wants to spend time in hospital, we couldn't fault this one for care from all the staff. Friendly and compassionate.

   Don't they have anyone answering the telephone? I am ringing from overseas and have repeatedly tried. The phone rings for about a minute and then I get an automated voice saying that the phone is temporarily out of order. And the website advertises "opening hours". I have never heard of a hospital that shuts down and has nobody to deal with calls. Do all the nursing staff go home?

   After looking at Chelsea and Alex's reviews things must have changed significantly in the past four years. When my mother was a patient there the care from the nursing staff was appalling. Often left freezing and barely covered in just a cotton nightie. Legs to be kept elevated at all times, totally ignored. Slumped in a chair ready to fall on the floor. Bed raised way up in the air, to stop her getting into it. No safety bars at the side of the bed. No special mattress or cushion for her bed sores. Numerous requests and an interminable wait for staff to provide a commode, which invariably arrived too late. Always hungry and thirsty, probably because she was unable to feed herself. Ward sister who was a disgrace to her profession.
