I ordered from just eat 40 pounds worth of food and it tastes like it been sitting for like 2 hours would not recommend this place to man nor beast good luck if your gonna eat there
Price is inconsistent, been going to that chip shop for 17 years and right now, I won’t be coming back. Last Thursday I was charged £6 for a small Doner and chips, which is correct pricing. This Wednesday I went and a brunette woman was serving this time, I asked for the same item and was told there was no battered chips, owner walked in then she checked and said there was battered chips so from then she seemed uninterested then I was charged £7.50 for the same small meal. Won’t be back until staff can agree on pricing and definitely won’t be in again if that brunette woman is there!!
Chips were mushy, fish was over cooked and the batter was like a cracker and had a funny flavour as did the potato fritters. £30 & in the bin with the lot.
Been coming here for years, always been a good chippy. Both battered and normal chips available. Plenty of deals available and dipping options (curry sauce, Chinese curry sauce) always a nice friendly team when you come in. Expect to queue sometimes it’s a popular place locally!
The food is second to none, it's great food, always fresh, for the first time we ordered from from home tonight.. lady called us to confirm, and still the order was wrong, hole in the sauce pot made it leak everywhere, we ordered sweet chilli and mayo, still got got mayo The lady was so polite on the phone, the reception was bad. Could of been that. We usually go here to get food, big que (sign of a good chippy) we can't reallt complain for minor mistakes xx
Asked for a meat and potato pie with chips, £2.80 for the pie which was inedible it was so hard I could not cut it. It must have been heated numerous times so disappointed but it went in the bin. Money I can't afford to throw away as it was supposed to be a treat for me. One pensioner very unhappy I wasted my money.
Food always nice staff friendly and helpful keith knows his stuff he's a right dab hand at cooking kebabs are big and the Chinese curry sauce is banging choice of plain or battered chips or just have a mix up best chip shop in willenhall/walsall
My delight when I had a job in the Black Country. Golden chips ❤️ the staff are friendly, and look busy. I was shocked people were ordering normal chips. Not me, being a Brummie we can't get these bad boys. Thanks for reading.
Not the best I'm affraid, chips were just a bit plain fish batter also not the best. Wasn't terrible but I do prefer my local place.
