Absolutely appalling courier service, even more so than the many other badly run courier companies in the UK. The drivers, for some illogical reason, left my large parcel in a communal hallway despite it not being a secure location and despite their own website saying they will redeliver if a customer is not in. My parcel has been tampered with as a result and I have to go through the inconvenience of pursuing remedial action. I will actively avoid any company that uses Tuffnells to deliver items because clearly their employees don’t have any common sense and cannot follow basic instructions.
Took a day off work to wait for a delivery. Got a text message from tuffnells to say that it had been delivered but no such delivery has been made. Rang tuffnells office who were no help and cut me off when I asked to speak to a manager. Customer service is diabolical. Use someone who cares
Not sure if I can give no stars, so gave one instead. I live 3 miles from their depot. They've had my parcel for 4 days (I paid for delivery 4 days ago). They won't engage with me because I am not sender. Two emails to their customer relations resulted in an identical response which must have been a copy and paste job. As a recipient, we have little choice on who delivers our parcels, but one thing is absolutely sure, if I ever send a parcel it won't be with Tuffnells.
Finally found a delivery company worse than Evri! Driver extremely rude and refused to take a heavy item round to back because it's heavy and he doesn't have time, utter jobs worth. Asked him to leave it on front garden for me instead. Go to get keys for back door and he's gone. Item left on pavement halfway down the road and damaged. Rang customer service to be told they don't deal with complaints about their drivers and to ring the supplier where I bought the item from. Speechless!
Ordered a door from wickes with a promise of next day delivery by Tuffnells. Waited in all day no delivery. Got a text saying item delivered and a photo taken, not at our house. Complained for over a week, then they changed their story saying it hardened been delivered at all because it was damaged. 8 days on I still haven't had my delivery. Received an automated email to tell me my parcel was coming, waited in all day to watch the tracking information not change. No way to chase as no number supplied. No way of knowing what’s happening as only one way communication. “Get an update from your local depot” well how do you know which depo it’s at? No number to check, no details to say where it is! Try accessing the website, “you do not have permission “ absolute joke
