Dr. Nabeel Ansari has been my GP since 2020. He has been incredible in helping me manage my menopause symptoms and always ensures I have the right referrals when needed. He’s very approachable, listens carefully, and makes me feel comfortable discussing any health issue. Even as a generally healthy person, it’s reassuring to have a doctor like him. I highly recommend Dr. Ansari to anyone looking for a thoughtful and attentive GP.

All the receptionists are friendly, positive, and welcoming. I must mention Ms Shah - she is absolutely brilliant! Her knowledge is exceptional and she is very professional. She clearly knows her work very well and always provides excellent care with confidence. Central Uxbridge Surgery has made a great impression. My only suggestion would be to improve appointment availability and booking times. Sometimes the wait can be 2-3 weeks, which is really not ideal.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Central Uxbridge Surgery. The reception team are always polite and helpful, and it’s easy to get through on the phone compared to many other practices. The doctors and nurses take the time to listen and explain things clearly, which makes such a difference. I’ve always felt well looked after and never rushed during appointments. Overall, a well-run, caring surgery that really supports its patients. Highly recommend

Central Uxbridge Surgery truly provides excellent care and service. The whole team — from the doctors to the reception staff — is professional, kind, and always willing to help. The doctors take their time to listen, explain things clearly, and make you feel genuinely cared for. The nurses are compassionate and reassuring, making every visit comfortable and stress-free. The receptionists are friendly and efficient, always welcoming patients with a smile and doing their best to assist, even during busy times. A special mention to Thushy and Wissam, the managers, who do an outstanding job running the surgery. They’re approachable, organised, and clearly dedicated to making sure everything runs smoothly and patients receive the best possible care. Overall, Central Uxbridge Surgery is a great example of teamwork and patient care at its best. I’m very grateful for their support and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring GP practice.

My experience has been really great since joining the Central Uxbridge Surgery. The doctors and the team have been so helpful. Christina, in particular, has been such a friendly face and has always been so welcoming and easy to talk to. She has always listened and taken on any concerns or queries I have had and has always tried her best to find a resolve. She’s a gem and a real asset to the team! Dr. A Abas has been an incredible GP, he was the first doctor I had seen since joining the surgery and his calm, polite and warm nature really helped me feel at ease. He was also very thorough and proactive in his assistance to getting my medical issues checked and diagnosed. He was great at explaining all the information and was very friendly and helpful.

I have to say Bhupinder, the clinical pharmacist at the surgery has been fantastic at helping solve my prescription issues. Please do not ever let her go! My Doctor, Dr B is also amazing! But, I do feel that we still need to jump through hoops to see our doctor in person, and it would be good to return to how it was pre-pandemic. To be able to just make an appointment, and see our doctors at the surgery. Overall, everyone I speak to at the surgery is friendly, and helpful, I just feel we need to allow patients back in to see their doctors.

I find it hit hit and miss. Reception staff are really polite. But the Dr's I feel have too many patients to really give a quality of care to people. I need a referal and I've been waiting months for a Dr to get back to me for something potentially quite detrimental to my health. I do feel let down in this way as I have become a number and not a person. A doctor sadly will see a number and not a person with a life and trails of worry that come along with not being well. I believe this is the case throughout the NHS there is not enough care to meet the demand. I will say average wait time on phone can be long but again I imagine its a huge volume of calls. Overall its not the worst in the area as I said receptionists have always been really polite

Having been a patient at this surgery since the place was built back in the 70s, I have witnessed a steady deterioration in every department, to the point of desperation that I feel today. It’s no longer the helpful surgery with pleasant staff that it used to be. No-one seems to care now, everybody you speak to (if you’re fortunate enough to speak to somebody) is immediately on the defensive, as if they’re expecting you to be awkward or impolite. I can’t remain a patient at this place any longer. I have to find an alternative surgery where I can be treated with the same respect that I give to other people.

Thank you for your help today in setting up my on line patient access. I am new to the surgery and to date I have found the team to be helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. As a retired NHS worker and having read some of the reviews, I would suggest people lobby their MP for proper funding and resources rather than leaving poor reviews about the surgery. Primary health care, free at the point of access, is a precious thing.
