I cannot recommend Richard @ Activ8 Rehab, Chertsey, enough. From before, and after hip replacement surgery (which at 55 years of age I was not expecting!), Richard was available to advise and support me. He is professional, knowledgeable and approachable, I felt completely supported but also motivated by him to push through the sometimes hard weeks of my recovery. Having had physio closer to home for a year before discovering I needed surgery, I can honestly say the quality of treatment at Activ8 was exceptional. The reception staff are also lovely, the practice is well-equipped and easy to access with parking out front . Without any doubt, I would highly recommend this practice and of course Richard.

I highly recommend this clinic specifically Tom Williams. I have been to Activ8 many times and have had both shoulders and neck worked on by Tom, his therapy has succeeded where, Doctors, Chiropractors and even surgeons have failed; the man is a genius in his field and highly recommended. Moreover, there is a reason Olympic athletes use him! -Mr KG

I worked with Jon over my mysteriously messed up hip - he was an absolute joy. Incredibly kind, professional and extremely helpful. I cannot recommend him enough. The clinic and receptionists themselves are also incredibly lovely and welcoming. I came here on a recommendation from somebody else and I am incredibly glad I did. 10/10 from me!

I was recommended a knee brace by my orthopaedic consultant, knowing nothing about them. I’m very grateful to Dave Fewster for his time and expertise in explaining and finding the right solution for my situation. My new brace has made a big difference to my mobility and confidence. Would recommend Activ8 Rehab.

I've just completed a course of physio from Richard, for a torn rotator cuff compounded by a frozen shoulder. It was touch and go last year whether surgery was the better option, but it would have taken months to recover from. Thanks to Richard's immense experience with shoulder injuries mine is now fully recovered. Pain that regularly kept me awake has disappeared and - for the first time in months - I actually don't think about the shoulder any more (except to protect it with a simple exercise programme). Richard is also unfailingly cheerful, and manages to make his subject interesting to a layman! I cannot recommend Richard and Activ8 highly enough, and the surgeon who referred me to him was equally effusive. One word of advice - follow Richard's instructions to the letter for the best outcome.

Richard has been brilliant with my pre and post op treatment!

The best physios and sports scientists around. Tom and David are brilliant. I've been visiting for a few months now and I won't go anywhere else. There are stairs to get to the treatment rooms, and a gym on the top floor, in case you have issues climbing stairs. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Richard is brilliant. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about getting you fixed and back on your feet. Tore my ACL and meniscus badly. Every session, he took me through the movements and explain exactly what was happening inside my knee and what I needed to do to fix myself. He even gave me stretches to help my sciatica which I've suffered from for over 10 years. (Side Cossack Lunges). Highly recommended. A+++++++

I saw Dave to get my Ossur knee brace re-fitted. Dave was very helpful and not only did an A1 job of the re-fitting, he was very pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable aboutΒ both the brace and the knee joint in general, passing on some useful tips and knowledge. As a bonus there was allocated parking right outside the door. I would recommend.

Activ8 Rehab are absolutely outstanding and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I'll explain why...After an ankle fracture, I struggled to recover. I saw three local physiotherapists and saw no improvements. None of them questioned why I wasn't improving and were quite dismissive of me. I therefore decided to see Tom Williams and travelled 65 miles from my home. Tom listened to me and more importantly believed what I was telling him. Upon examination, he consequently identified an issue and referred me to an ankle specialist, writing an extremely detailed letter describing his observations. It transpired that my ankle was still fractured in several places with loose bony fragments and I had torn tendons. It required surgery and a long rehab which Tom guided me through. I truly believe that I'd still be struggling to walk now, had it not been for Tom and his exceptional team. Tom is knowledgeable and highly skilled. He communicated clearly and honestly, so I never had unrealistic expectations of what was achievable. His premises are modern, clean and he was always on time for my appointments. A true professional and the best physiotherapist I've ever worked with - I highly recommend.
