βI have been a patient at Parishes Bridge Practice for a long time and want to commend the entire team, especially Dr. Ashman and Practice Principal Manager Kim, who are always incredibly supportive. βI always follow the practice's rules and submit my urgent requests through the AccuRx portal promptly between 8 am and 9 am, and I consistently find my requests are triaged and managed very quickly. βIt is remarkable how this practice copes with such immense pressure, caring for 10,000 patients and managing endless enquiries and requirements. Despite being squeezed between NHS policies, severe patient load, and limited capacity, they manage to stay friendly, helpful, and deliver the best care possible. βIf you ask me, our local GP practices are new-age saints. Thank you, Parishes Bridge, for your dedication. We are also grateful to the Friends of West Byfleet Health Centre Parishes Bridge Practice group for helping provide much-needed support and acknowledgement for their constant efforts.

After initial difficulty navigating the practice's access methods, I was given crucial, clarifying guidance on the official AccuRx digital portal. This system is genuinely secure and efficient, ensuring requests are logged immediately into patient records. The process is now seamless, provided you adhere to the urgent requests protocol (8:00 AM to 9:00 AM). This effective flow is a clear reflection of strong organizational leadership. The professionalism of Practice Manager Kim Austin and the entire staff, from reception to clinical teams, is top-tier.

The reception team here deserves recognition for their patience and supportive attitude. Even though the practice is very busy, they consistently do their best to guide patients and make sure things are managed properly. I initially had problems using the online booking form and often relied on emails instead. The team always replied politely and explained the correct process. On one occasion, after I sent a late message, they even called me back to confirm details and arrange an urgent appointment for me. During one conversation, a receptionist carefully explained how the system operates and mentioned that the booking form is usually accessible only between 8 and 9 in the morning. From my own experience, it works smoothly if used in that time window β a useful detail for other patients. The technology itself can feel limited, but the staff balance this with effort and care. I appreciate the way they support patients, and Iβm grateful for their help.

Tip for other patients: the booking form works most smoothly if you use it between 8 and 9 in the morning. That way you avoid long phone calls or sending emails outside the system. As foreigners living here, we had to try several local GPs before settling. In the NHS system you canβt expect a βperfectβ practice because many things depend on the wider health structure, but what really makes the difference is how you are treated. At Parishes Bridge Practice the waiting times for specialist referrals are the same as elsewhere, but Iβve noticed the speed of getting a GP appointment can vary β and they do their best to assess each case individually. Sometimes theyβve even prioritised me without my asking, which I really appreciated. I canβt name doctors or receptionists here due to Googleβs policy, but I want to thank the whole team. Iβve seen how demanding the reception role is, with many patients arriving upset, and yet they remain patient and professional.

I needed to update a prescription and the surgery told me that I would need to speak to Dr. Burden. Dr. Burden rang me just now and was very helpful, kind, good humoured & professional. Wendy my wife, and myself have nothing but good words to say about Parishes Bridge practice. Kim is always helpful and so is nurse Rachel, Nicola and Sam. Thank you. Bernard and Wendy Hennessy.

I only ever read negative reviews and my experience is the exact opposite. The staff on reception always do their best with the limited appointments they have available. It stands to reason that not everyone can have an appointment when you know the length of the appointments queue. The reception staff are ALWAYS friendly. I find in all walks of life if you are nice to people they will be nice back. The Drs and nurses always ring when they say they will. I would rather have a telephone call than go and sit in a germ ridden surgery. They have always supported me with all my queries and had prompt referrals and test when needed. I would like to thank Parishes Bridge who like the rest of the NHS are working in difficult circumstances.

Iv been with this practice for many years and I can safely say theyve gone above and beyond for me. They have always rang me when needed. Gave appointments where necessary and needed. Have had lots going on and theyve been so supportive. Kim practice manager is so lovely. Well done guys.

Over the last two years, this Practice has been extremely supportive of the difficult situation in which I have found myself. Caring for a dearly loved vulnerable friend (as I do) is always challenging. My brilliant GP, Dr Burden and Practice Manager, Kim, together with Nurse Fang are quick to help me, courteously and kindly, with queries, and swift appointments as appropriate! I can't ask for better attention or support. Thank you all. Keep up the good work!

This Practice used to be excellent and you felt as though they actually cared about your health. Now, sadly, there is a feeling of complete indifference towards patients. Following my review, I was contacted by the Practice Manager to discuss my issues. I very much appreciate the speed and manner in which they were dealt with. The response has restored my faith in this practice and the care it gives to patients. I hope this will continue for the future and have increased my star rating. Following my update, sadly, nothing changed - so I have. I am now happily registered with a new and caring practice. I feel sad that after 46 years with Parishes Bridge, it is a mere shadow of the excellent practice it once was. They have succeeded in destroying their own reputation. Something as simple as a repeat prescription request should be simple and seamless but with this practice it requires multiple phone calls just to establish if the prescription has been done, correct the omissions and navigate messages saying your request has been rejected when, in fact, it is with the pharmacy. Too stressful and time-consuming. The medical staff are fantastic but the practice procedures need a review. I am not alone in migrating but I don't think they care.

Recently I moved to this area, finding a good GP isnβt always easy but Iβm so glad I chose this GP. I have had a few over the phone appointments which have been easy and quick to provide the right treatment. However, I recently had a small procedure done here. Sister Fang and Nurse Kim were so welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. They took the time to understand my situation before the procedure and were so supportive throughout. I even left the surgery with a smile on my face! They are both a credit to the practice and deserve so much recognition. Thank you both so much!
