The worst GP in the area. Refuse the simplest of requests. The receptionists are all on some kind of power trip and I have been hung up on at least twice. Massively gone downhill since Dr Winayak left. I have since left and my new GP is so much better.

Been on the phone for an hour and still in queue whilst my partner is sick to the core. I know uk health system is a joke but this stupid gp takes it further. Hire receptionists that pick up the phone for starters ?

I am extremely disappointed with the appointment system. The receptionist consistently denies emergency appointments at 9:00 AM, claiming they are fully booked. As someone who works at the GP, I know that emergency appointments are available throughout the day. What is even more frustrating is that they do not consider someone with a swollen throat who is unable to eat to be an emergency. The receptionist suggested that I contact 111 or visit A&E instead.

To anyone- immediately change to another practice!!! I have been going here all my life. When Dr Winayak was the doctor it was an excellent practice. Over the last year or so it has become a hostile, rude and an awful place. I avoid it as much as possible. I needed some help and I got pied off. I called once a day for 3 days and finally someone said to me the nurse is only in on fridays. If the first person new that, it should have been communicated. Instead I was told they will be in touch with me that day. I was then spoken over by the receptionist saying the nurse will have plenty of work and I need to allow them time to complete and get up to date with their work. Most of the receptionists are rude and don't let you speak, they are blunt. They are the face of the practice so should be making the patients feel at ease and welcome. They do the complete opposite. People that go to the doctors are in need of help and support and the medical centre is not the place for that. Extremely saddening as it has been my doctors all my life. I am in the process of going to another practice. I called multiple times and was asked to call back at 8:30am, so I did- the receptionist was blunt and said how I had already called and I mentioned that she asked me to call back. For her to then say oh yes I did and good thing because I had reminded her (again!) They also said I needed to give 4 weeks notice, I gave them 3 cause I was unaware of the 4 and then it was down to 2 weeks due to their incompetence and lack of help. I have now managed to get an appointment tomorrow at another practice, who were much more helpful. It would have been helpful if they would have just been honest at the beginning and told me this. Instead their reasoning and stories changed all the time. I am looking to get the Tetanus vaccine if the practice doesn’t have this readily in stock, then that raises concerns! The are certainly letting Dr Winayak reputation down! I am very relieved to be registered elsewhere soon.

Dr Winayak was an excellent Dr, what a shame the surgery has gone down hill. It’s a disgrace. No annual reviews if you’re on medication for b/p. Dr Cheng has not know how to speak to patients. Avoid at all costs. Dr Patel should think before she opens her mouth. I have been at this surgery over 30 years. Such a shame but I for one will be looking to move away. Terrible,Drs and staff. There is one Dr I might give 1 star to.

Mr P and Kirsty were extremely welcoming. Today was my first day going to them and I am very happy and satisfied with my visit. Mr P thank you for all your advice!

Rude receptionist! Has been years being the patient in this GP, first time ever having really bad experience on the phone when trying to make appointments just because I have to make appointment for my medication that need to be review. I’m just a patient wanted to see the doctor.

You can't make an appointment in advance. You can only make an appointment between 8am to 10am to speak or see a doctor on the actual day. During these times in the morning, everyone else is scrambling to call to make an appointment, so the lines are always engaged or busy. What if some poor person was desperate for an appointment... Who's bright idea was this? It's the bright idea of the new management, since taking over from Dr Winayak, trying to be clever. Absolute rubbish, NHS need to look into this and kick these guys out! I know lots of people who have left this surgery since the new management have taken over. Not only because of how they are running the clinic, but also because of their rude telephone manner. If there was a way, I'd give them zero stars

Most of the reviews for this Practice are outdated. This GP has gone massively downhill since Dr Winyak left. Only a couple decent practicing Dr's left there; two have annoyed me to no end as of late for various health problems. Receptionists are hit or miss for helpfulness. Everytime I speak to a local friend or neighbour, they confirm they're having the same awful experience. Please, please look elsewhere if your current medical requirement is more important than, I don't know, a grazed knee.

This place has dramatically changed for the worse under Dr Dhandees management. The odds of you seeing a Dr in person are incredibly low, everything is now a telephone appointment and there are no set time for these, you'd have to idly sit by for a few hours on a given day until someone calls you. The reception staff are rude and disorganised, I've lost count of the amount of times they have made a big error with appointments, referrals and prescriptions. If you can find a better GP, do so, I know I will. Sidenote: my entire family were saddened to hear of Dr Winayaks retirement. He was the most attentive and caring Dr I have come across in the UK and he will be dearly missed.
