   I usually say nothing if I have nothing nice to say, but what we experienced with my 4 years old daughter was terrible. I thought they have professionals, trained to collect blood from children, giving the fact that is the only centre doing that for under 5's in my area. The nightmare we went through...I have no words. My child's arm is still scratched from the needle, has a massive bruise on her arm and still cries at night from the terror... as a mum I felt useless in front of my child begging me to make them stop... never again!

   Been waiting for a speech therapy appointment since 1 year! When called to inquire how much more time will it take, I was told in a rude manner that I can’t tell and you just have to wait. What’s the point of offering NHS assessments when you can’t do nothing to help the children?!

   So I never leave reviews for anything but I just had to share my experience from today at Peace children center. My little girl had a blood test booked at this hospital and the receptionist was so so lovely!! I had forgotten to bring a form that they needed for the blood, and she was so patient and lovely!! She gave me time to go collect it from my GP and come back! It was a breath of fresh air to see someone this kind at a hospital setting. The nurses and staff were all lovely, they took blood from my 4 year old with no problems. She was a happy girl when we left with loads of stickers. Definitely recommend this hospital and want to thank the lovely lady at the reception again, if your reading this, you made our day today!

   If your black your gonna have to stand your ground to get the right outcome for your child. I have never seen any black, families in the peace centre over the years. I fully understand why. Be prepared to be blamed for their mistakes. Be prepared for the indirect racism and the all to known classical. Called aggressive and why not add an mental problems to round up a perfect system of racism.

   Great arrangement during Covid. At the gates they inform you to park the cark and wait in the car. Someone then comes up to you and takes you in. Great job in managing spread of Covid. Well done.
