This used to be a surgery I'd recommend highly to anyone. However, the receptionist team have become wholly unhelpful and resistant to completing a basic task. Why bother having a receptionist team? I called to get an appointment with the doctor after not hearing back from an online request, I received no follow-up communication from the request and so called the surgery. I was then told the request had been completed but there was no indication of this (no text, email or notification) the receptionist's response was "well it's been done". After this and not feeling confident with the "triage system", I asked to book an appointment over the phone "I can't book appointments, unless you do not have access to a computer, which clearly you do"... This was whilst on the phone and discussing a serious health matter. A poor experience, not related to the doctors who are excellent. But good luck getting an appointment.

I have moved from this surgery to the Kingston Health Centre. This is how a practice should be run. Can send emails to reception who answer by return and are helpful and friendly. Doctors are proactive, efficient and on time. What a contrast.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Park Road Surgery. The receptionist kept telling me that she couldn’t make an appointment for me and that I had to do it online. I explained that I couldn’t access the internet at the moment, yet she repeatedly told me to go to a café and kept asking why I don’t have access to the internet to complete the form online. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. When she returned, she said that apparently she could fill in the forms for me. After asking for my date of birth, then she couldn’t hear me and ended the call for the second time. She called me back but I was already on phone calling them again. The whole experience was extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable. What an awful level of service.

I have been registered here for a little over a year, and in that time I have been treated with such kindness, compassion, and respect. The doctors have been absolutely amazing. Every interaction has shown me how dedicated, understanding, and patient the staff are. It is clear how much effort they put into truly listening and supporting patients, and it has made a world of difference to me. A glowing example of a well run GP surgery. Thank you

I'm really surprised to see negative feedback. I have had a positive experience with all reception staff, Doctors and nurses over the years. They listened when I requested referral for an ADHD assessment which I finally received age 50. It's making a massive difference to my life and cannot convey enough the impact of undiagnosed ADHD on all aspects of life. In my whole life having bloods done I can honestly say Samia is the best, hands down! I worked in the NHS for 30 years. The pressures are massive and there is constantly a push for more. I am so grateful to have a local service who care. Thank you, Susi

Unfortunately I can’t say anything good about this surgery apart from the Drs that don’t discriminate due to race. I’ve had very odd experiences with receptionists which I don’t wish to disclose that have tried to make my life more difficult due to unprovoked “issues” (racist). Very unprofessional reception staff and not to mention how ill mannered and spiteful they can be. 10/10 for the Drs. 1/10 for the receptionists that think there slick and need to get a grip at there big age :)

I've been left over a year not knowing what is wrong with me - each doctor I see gives me a different diagnosis that I no longer have faith in what they say. I've been told it was menopause, Cushing's, sciatica and now I have found out I've had glandular fever since September but was obviously infected before then. I was left with inflamed liver which is still inflamed, swollen legs, abdominal swelling, and pain so bad I could and can still hardly walk some days. I've read that glandular fever doesn't last that long unless it goes chronic and that you should be potentially hospitalized. It's awful that you pay taxes and you're left to the wolves and unable to work. I cried because it was affecting my work life and all I get asked is ‘are you depressed?’ believe me, I've battled worse than this in my life I ain't depressed just in bloody pain! Also, when my bf attended to hand a sample in the receptionist with dark long hair looked at him and went ‘eww don't give that to me’ - the other lady ended up taking it from Him but the lack of professionalism and empathy to people in need of care is shocking. Also when I asked about testing for covid as I was never recommended to test while unwell or offered screening or a referral I was told doctors don’t test for covid as it was an agreement between you and the ‘government’ hmmm a health concern not affiliated with health care institutions but only government I guess we are getting ready for that digital currency aye!

Great gratitude to Dr. Gallagher for the care with higher professionalism, humanity, and for the successful surgical procedure! Happy Christmas and all the best in the New Year.

Been coming here for many years and service in the past was very poor, as per other reviews. Rude staff, long queues and rigid processes, although doctors and nurses were always great. I've seen a significant improvement in the last 12 months. Takes a while to get through, but receptionists are helpful, ask relevant but unintrusive questions, and try to do their best for you. Doctors are excellent, despite massive workload. And nurses are always fun, caring and efficient. Hope this continues.

I haven't lived in the area very long ( 3 years) but I've always been treated very well by Park Road Surgery. I've always found the receptionists to be very accommodating, and the doctors and nurses professional, empathetic and friendly. I was recommended Park Road Surgery when I moved here, and I pass on that recommendation happily. Very grateful for it and for Teddington Memorial too. Excellent local services.
