   Tbh I had a bad experience at the surgery previously but I have since seen the staff turn this around. Brilliant receptionists at Gilbert house very attentive & approachable. The ladies on today were so lovely with my issue & literally did all they could to get me seen as I was concerned.they were polite & I didn’t expect to feel so cared for & heard. So thank you Claire & Carrie & also Dr Rabinithivan for helping me this evening

   My wife was seen by Dr Yacob and praised her for the professionalism and quality of service. Very thorough check and referral for a sample test which required a course of triple antibiotics afterwards. Dr Yacob rang my wife with the result and discussed the follow-up treatment. Brilliant doctor!

   Changed to Gilbert House surgery a couple years ago now when I moved into the area. Left a great practice and a bit concerned that I wouldn't find another one as good. I'm pleased to write that I have had nothing but positive experiences since joining. Getting appointments haven't been an issue. Repeat meds always done within a couple days. Great doctors and medical team. Just had a telephone appointment which was bang on time and very thorough. Very glad I moved to Ashtead and choose Gilbert house.

   My appointment with Dr Anderson was so helpful and reassuring. She listened carefully to my concerns and was able to explain the likely cause of my symptoms and advise on the best course of action. The appointment was very efficient but at no point did I feel rushed. I’m so grateful to have been able to benefit from her knowledge, experience and excellent medical expertise. And I’m also very grateful to the team on reception for arranging my same day appointment - thank you all!

   We all know GP surgeries are super busy and often stretched thin. That’s why I was so blown away by the amazing team at Gilbert House Surgery. I put in a prescription request, something that usually takes up to three working days elsewhere, and they had it sorted in under an hour. All I said was that I was travelling and needed it within the next couple of days. The receptionist was incredible, even towards her the end of her morning shift, she made sure she passes my request in person to the duty doctor. Dr. Dalia Jacob was absolutely brilliant, getting the prescription ready in no time while seeing other patients and sending me a text message to confirm it's ready. They worked together to get it done quickly and even gave me a call to let me know it was ready. Huge thanks to the whole team for being so kind, understanding, and just genuinely caring. You really made my day!

   Since I was 9 months old this has been my GP practice..I am now three days away from my 59th birthday and have been offered the flu vaccine. I received it this morning under which can only be discribed as a Covid safe service with military precision , professional skill and friendly atmosphere .As an NHS professional myself I appreciate every point of excellence.    !005 hours and just off the phone to doctors after receiving text to make appointment to see a doctor regarding recent hip X-ray. Couple of minutes delay due to calls ahead of me. Receptionist extremely post, friendly and helpful and even re-arranged a previous appointment so that I could see doctor and nurse on the same morning within 1/2 hour of each other, thus saving me from having to attend on two different days. Excellent and thank you.

   I have never failed to get an appointment and have great faith in all the medical staff. I must say I've never known any of the receptionists to be other than polite and helpful. I wonder whether patients realise just how fortunate we are in Ashtead when I talk to my relatives in other parts of the UK.
