When calling in to get a doctor's appointment from the receptionists specially Wendy shouldn't be this difficult; they are not at all polite, they rude and inconsiderate of patients situation and psychology.
This review is based on my experiences over the past few months since my Stoneleigh GP surgery joined Spring Street GP. Overall, I’ve had some really positive experiences and felt well supported. A massive thank you to Dr A. Rodrigues for truly listening to my health concerns and taking them seriously. I felt heard, understood, and reassured, and I really appreciate being referred to the appropriate specialists without feeling rushed or dismissed. Another big thank you to Dr Dominic Naidoo. I visited the surgery today with my daughter, and his calm, kind approach and positive energy were absolutely brilliant. The way he interacted with my daughter instantly put both of us at ease, and it genuinely felt like she was in safe hands and would receive the right care. Please continue what you are doing, Dr Naidoo — you are a fantastic doctor. Experiences like these make such a difference to patients and families. Thank you to the team for the care and support.
8 days to get a telephone appointment, spoke to one of the partner Doctors about weight loss jabs ,he was very dismissive and quite rude, also discussed knee surgery. 8 weeks on, no referral, no contact, nothing. Leaving this GPs.
The surgery is always helpful and friendly. Prescriptions are turned around quickly and efficiently and even if you have to wait a little while to get through on the phone, you are greeted in a friendly and helpful manner. I always recommend the surgery to any new neighbours. The Doctors listen to your problem and you feel like a patient not a number.
This really is a fantastic GP surgery. I've only had good experiences here with my 18 month old since we moved to the area in February. All the reception and clinical staff we've encountered have been extremely helpful, kind and polite, every time. Much appreciated, thank you!
We moved to the area and have been with these doctors for about 2 years. Honestly, they’re fantastic. Dr Sumathy in particular has been so caring and helpful - even noticing something with my toddler that was not what the appointment was about! So impressed. I know NHS is under strain right now - really appreciate you all!!
I have been with this surgery for about 20 years. My GP, Dr Orton, is such a wonderful doctor...I feel so fortunate to be under his care. I have regular blood tests for an ongoing illness. All the nurses are so gentle and friendly. The receptionists are also very helpful and approachable. I have had cause to use the practice more than usual during these past 2 covid years. I cannot fault their care. I really am very grateful
Dr. Sumathy was our Parents Doctor for many years. Mum and Dad both had complex illnesses and could be quite difficult when poorly. Dr. Sumathy has always been professional, friendly, kind, understanding and very patient throughout everything they went through. Thank you. Whoever we have spoken to or seen at the surgery has always been so friendly and helpful, would highly recommend Spring Street Surgery.
My family and I have always had exceptional care, treatment and guidance from the Doctors and Nurses at Spring Street Surgery over many years. Some family members have had several illnesses of a complex nature and they have always been there for us. Doing their utmost to resolve problems and get the best treatment. Dr Orton is the General Practitioner that I have majority of my appointments with. I can honestly say that I have never met a Doctor more professional, knowledgeable, genuine, patient and kind. I have great trust in his ability to get the right treatment. The Surgery has no doubt been under great pressure since Covid. The Doctors and all other staff have been striving to make sure they still give the best care to all their patients. Personally I feel very fortunate to have Dr Orton as my GP. The reception staff are always helpful too.
