   On the 14th of November, I made an online request to see a GP on the health centre Anima system . Since I could not attach a photograph of the issue, my request did not materialise. Followed by this, I made a visit to the health centre and spoke to a male receptionist about the incident. In spite of a number of requests made by me, he politely said to me that he has no way of helping me. Instead, he continuously and persistently refused to give me any indication of support, what I felt was rejection.. as I was waiting there and being rejected still making further requests, the other receptionist shouted from her desk and said I was taking far too long time, completely misjudging and misunderstanding what was going on with the colleague and me, she asked me to move on and said I was making the other people behind me to wait for too long. , She shouted and told me to go to the Anima system and make an appointment. I replied to her that she has no idea what this conversation about and apologise to holding the queue of people behind me and explained I was not aware of the queue. This is not a hypothetical situation, this is not the first time second time, patients are being spoken to rudely and disrespectfully. Also, this is not the first time, due to such incidence in the past I have personally spoken to the GPs several times about the conduct of this receptionist staff. To make it even worse when I came home and went on the site I realised Dr Luke has already given me an appointment which I did not see previously. Then I realised when I visited the health Centre, when I was having this difficult conversation with the staff, when they were staring at the anima screen still they failed to see the appointment Doctor Luke has given to me that morning, instead repeated the rule book making ma to feel worthless , a nuisance and as if I was wasting their time. In one of my follow-up visits to the surgery, I explained this to Dr Antonio and she apologised on behalf of the Reception staff. Because of the good doctors in the surgery, their professional conduct, humility. Understanding. and the long-standing relationship we have nurtured over the years we tend to continue our journey. It is a disservice to the long-standing reputation of the Robinhood practice having a robotic staff at the front desk with no feelings, no grace, no humility, repeated answer that I received on that day was.” there is nothing we can do.” and the screaming disrespectful unprofessional voice from their other female colleague.

   47 minutes on hold trying to get an appointment. No answer. Used the 'callback' option. Nobody called back. Went in person to make an appointment - first available was in SIX WEEKS. Even their lengthy announcement warns of MONTHS before you can expect an appointment. My advice? Change surgeries. We did and got an appointment in 14 days. Robin Hood was good but it is largely useless now.
