   Not happy at all... im the patient but get spoken down too. Thr receptionist called Emily answered the phone im panicking cause I think my illness is getting worse. Yes I may have raise my voice because i am ill and scared isn't it the receptionist job to make the patient feel at ease Im calling right now 5 times and it's says im the next call bit im calling and calling no answer Someone could die from waiting Very very upset right now been at this surgery for over 20 years

   I called to ask advice to get better from Covid, she told me to call the pharmacy, because they know better. However, it is okay, but I was about to ask for a phone number, but without able to say anything else, she just put the phone down on me, like I would spred Covid through the phone if she'd stay on it any longer.

   I think this is the best GP practice around, the reception staff are always so helpful and supportive. You hear so many stories about receptionist at GP's being difficult but I have only ever experienced professionalism and kindness from them. You can book appointments ahead of time so none of the calling first thing in the morning to wait in a queue to be told no more appointments. I have also been fitted in as emergency on a few occasions.

   I attended this clinic for my asthma problem. A doctor saw me once and then referred me to a nurse. After the nurse appointment, I ran out of my inhaler medication. I went to the pharmacy to collect my new dose but was told it hadn’t been issued. The pharmacy staff asked me to contact the GP, so I phoned the clinic. However, the person on the phone said they “cannot issue medication over the phone” and told me to request it through the pharmacy. I returned to the pharmacy, but they said they couldn’t do anything either. I called the clinic again to ask whether I needed to attend in person. Finally, someone competent told me she would speak to the doctor and sort it out. This is not okay. There is a serious communication gap between doctors and nurses, and I felt like I was being passed around like a football. The experience was frustrating and upsetting. Please make sure there’s a clear and sensible process when caring for patients, especially those with ongoing conditions.

   I was at the practice for nearly 6 years, I had a baby during this time and I could not praise the staff more. Particularly reception staff, Dr Pambos and Nurse Donna were exceptional. I felt that the extreme pressure they are all under was never felt by patients, they always try to help. I am sad to have had to move surgeries due to a house move.

   We’ve only been registered with this GP for a short amount of time and in that short space of time, we’ve been to the GP a number of times as we have a baby. This practice is incredible. The receptionists are lovely and so helpful. The doctors are incredibly professional, patient and caring. And the nurse is excellent. I’m so impressed. It makes a huge difference finding a practice that treats its patients with kindness.
