I could not have asked for a better GP practice. The responsiveness and professionalism of all staff members have been exceptional. I am sincerely grateful for the care and support provided by the doctors, nurses, and reception team. Thank you all for looking after me so well.

The phlebotomist who helped me was amazing, she had ended her shift but noticed that my appointment was running behind schedule and could clearly see that I was nervous. Rather then leaving me to it like most people she went the extra mile and logged back in to draw my blood, this was by far they best experience I've ever had. Kept me calm and was completely painless, honestly didn't even notice she had finished. This level of service deserves recognition! Thank you!

My experience at parkside keeps getting better. I've been registered here for nearly thirty years. Today I've had a very smooth blood test from super cheerful Eman. Very responsive to online messages using the klinic service. Last year their rapid response caught my shingles in time for medication and avoided a month of agony. It's a sign of good management when everything works, the place is cheerful, the service is swift and effective.

Going to the doctors can be a nervous experience for many, including myself…but I always find the staff very friendly and helpful. Dr Michael Clementson has been particularly helpful and is someone who puts his patients at ease. I’m grateful for his gentle nature and great advice.

Worst GP Practice – Avoid I joined this practice not long ago. Even though I saw many negative reviews, I still decided to give them a chance. That was a mistake. I’ve been unwell since last week and it has been impossible to get an appointment. They say they will call back but always at random times, ignoring the times I told them I was available. I’ve complained multiple times and nothing changes. If you ever get sick here, you’ll see how rude and dismissive the staff can be. There is no care or respect for patients. At a normal GP you can call in the morning and get a same-day appointment – here it’s a complete joke. I strongly advise anyone thinking about joining this GP not to waste their time or risk their health.

Shocking waiting time even when patients arrive for pre-scheduled appointments. My wife had an appointment for 5:45 and we’ve been in the waiting room for the past hour-and-a-half because the doctor is running late. Why isn’t there a system to notify patients if a doctor is running that late? That shows absolute lack of respect. When asked reception ensured me that they are doing their best, but this is the third time that this has happened. Last time I waited more than an hour with my 6 month old baby and we arrived for a scheduled appointment. No care for patients whatsoever. Shocking. There isn’t any other sector where this would be allowed without consequences.

Can't say I'm happy with this practice. Since Covid it's very difficult to get an appointment. If I want to see specific GP, as in "my GP" it's months... Was seen today, i listed a few issues I came for, and was asked what's the most important for me, since she has 10 minutes for me. I don't think that's ok to say, felt a bit shocked and didn't know what to say, thought about leaving. Also, what's the point of My GP app?

We have been with Parkside Group practice and previous site at St Augustine's for over 40 years. I'm an ex NHS worker and seriously cannot believe how broken the NHS has become. My husband has mobility problems and I requested his flu vaccine be done as a home visit with the nurse. I was informed by the receptionist that home visits would take place after the walk in clinics had finished. I would understand had my husband been calling out a nurse or GP on a regular basis that it's not feasible but the last time he saw a GP was a long time ago at the practice. It seems home visits are no longer an option. We now have to hire a wheelchair to get him to the surgery, without any consideration to both his and my safety.

Parkside are a great family practice. Called 8.30 on Monday for my 18 month old and was seen within the hour. Also the kindest nurses during her vaccinations. Thank you!
