Went into the walkin today Saturday the 22nd of Nov, having had minor surgery on the Thursday previous I went because I still have a fresh wound with stitches and the staff refused to change the dressing which was coming away and not covering the wound. This is the reason for going to stop any infection that might occur due to the dressing. I was told to go home and call 111, this attitude could cause me to contract an i section. So although the rating is 1 star it should be 0 stars for incompetence and unprofessional ism.

My first visit to Purley GP Hub was a great experience. The reception staff were welcoming and efficient, and the lovely nurse called Wendy who took my blood test was exceptional. She was so professional, gentle, and reassuring β I didnβt feel any pain at all! It was the most comfortable blood test Iβve ever had. I wish all nurses were like her. Thank you for the outstanding care and service.

I was referred to Purley Urgent Care by NHS111 and saw Dr Samia, who listened to my symptoms, examined my abdomen and told me she suspected me having appendicitis and to get myself off to A&E ASAP, with no food or drink - and SHE WAS SPOT ON. An emergency appendectomy later and I am on the road to recovery. Thanks Dr Samia.

I visited Purley GP hub today 30th Augβ25 and came back home very agitated and disappointed. I went through a medical procedure privately yesterday and my symptoms are not improving. Todayβs Saturday and private hospital or consultant is not available for post care. I wasnβt expecting a miracle but just some kindness and any helpful medical advice until I could see consultant, but was refused point blank as the GP didnβt have any medical details of medical procedure, did cursory examination, said they were not specialist, and advised me to go to private hospital first and then A&E. I would have were it open - isnβt it common sense? Itβs the way emphasis was on to seek the consultant who did it, go to A&E, and reference to going private which upset me. When I asked for nearest A&E I was told to google myself. I am writing this post because there was absolutely no empathy, felt judged for going private and a rigid mindset on not to offer any helpful information. I also consider it my mistake I didnβt ask for post operative care in details nor did private hospital emphasise on it. Afraid to go to A&E as expect same response. I will try to manage till I can find a way to get in touch with the consultant on Monday. I donβt go private because I can(it means cutting down on other needs), its out of no choice based on NHS delays and past experience.

I visited the Purley GP Hub today after a member of my staff suffered an electric shock. The receptionist, Hina, was friendly and very helpful β she quickly arranged an appointment for us. We were seen in less than 10 minutes by a lovely nurse who was thorough, reassuring, and gave clear advice on what symptoms to watch for in case anything worsened. Overall, a very positive and professional experience. Thank you to the team!

Got an appointment quickly and easily via 111. The wait at the hub was not too long. Clinicians were lovely with my daughter. A great experience.

At a time when the nhs is struggling to provide urgent care, this hub is a saviour. Always have appointments available, offer f2f if needed. Lucky to have such a service locally as I know as a doctor patients in other areas are not so fortunate to have access to emergency GP appointments. Using this service prevented my sons admission. Thank u for your dedication and hard work.

Dr Sabrina is excellent, by far one of the best doctors I've had the pleasure of meeting. She thoroughly checked my son and called up afterwards as well to make sure we had got the correct medication.
