Most of the receptionists are rude, unprofessional and extremely unsympathetic towards patients. However, the doctors and other medoical staff are excellent. It is very difficult to get through on their phone lines and difficult to get to see a Dr. This surgery unfortunately has gone down hill over the years, massive shame!
Absolutely awful experience. Called everyday to get a appointment at 8am and still no face to face and the wait is 2 weeks for a telephone appointment. This Surgery really needs to be investigated!
The reception staff are disgraceful, the phone lines are never answered and staff are incredibly incompetent. A person called Carol would refuse to book me in to see a doctor without any reason, until I asked to speak to a manager... since when we aren't allowed appointments to discuss health issues?!
Currently closed until Spring 2022. From what I understand they have moved to Tulse Hill in the meantime. They are still offering online services and that is the reason why this place has not been marked as temporarily closed.
Crown Dale medical Centre is by far the worst doctor surgery in London, if it was not for doctor Anna, I would not be giving this surgery any stars the staff at reception are so rude. The doctors are not interested in seeing anyone. I am being told to go to A & E or call 111. terrible service. There is a lovely doctor at the surgery doctor, Anna. She is wonderful. I fainted & I called the surgery and was told they could not see me!
Simply because I can’t give zero stars they have one. I’ve been told at least 3 times this week to phone back to get a morning appointment. I phone this morning and I will start by saying the receptionist was rude to say the least. She had told me there was no more appointments before she had even asked if it was an emergency or not. Then tried to send me somewhere that is not my surgery. I mean if I wanted to go there, or if I could get there I would have. The rude woman even put the phone down. Sick and tired of this surgery. I wouldn’t recommend them at all. Don’t get me wrong the doctors are amazing but, its not worth the battle if their front of house have no manners.
This place suffers from being popular and is always very busy. Just spoke to a really nice and "down to earth" member of the front of house team. She took the time to explain the appointments system (which is ever changing in response to constant patient feedback). My partner did have to complain about an extremely rude receptionist a year or two ago, but I think there's been an improvement on that front if my experience today was anything to go by.
What kind of Doctors surgery doesn't have a system for same day appointments? I was just told that my next possible appointment would be in 5 weeks. 5 WEEKS!!! The call back service they offer for "urgent patients" is terrible. I had 2 days in a row waiting for a doctor to call me back and you'll get a grilling from reception first. Some of the reception staff need some compassion training. I'm moving to a different surgery. Its a shame because the doctors and nurses I've seen have been great.
