This used to be a really good GP but ever since they introduced this new triage system it has gone downhill. Myself recently out of surgery and required to go and have regular bp taken by the surgery, booked then they cancelled without a new booking leaving me to have to go through the booking system again to which I just couldn’t bring myself to do. Also having a child who has major health issues and I really need him to see a doctor as he is currently having awful flare ups but this booking system crap is just frustrating and holding me back. Not to mention last time I came in with my 9 year old son the doctor that saw him was dressed so inappropriately. Absolute madness. I will definitely be moving away from this surgery very soon.

This GP surgery has rapidly gone down hill. They have made it so you struggle to get an appointment you can't get prescriptions. I am not sure if they have new management but whatever has happened it is far worse than it was before. I hope whoever is responsible for this rapid deterioration of this GP surgery is proud of what they have done. I now feel that I no longer have a reliable GP service and that is a rally sad.

Terrible. Had a booked telephone appointment confirmed with a text message. It did not happen! Had to go to the surgery later that morning. Not much effort to fit me in at my appointment time although it was their admin mistake! Very poor service. When you are ill you do not expect to have to fight to get an appt which was their mistake. Receptionists most unhelpful with no admitance this was their mistake and not much effort to help me. I did not miss my appointment it was their admin error! I could only be slotted in a space space so who had my appointment……

If I could give 0 stars, I would, they don't answer the phone, they make it very difficult to get an appointment, you have to fill out a triage form online, and I get the impression they don't want to see people in person. Maybe the Doctors prefer to Work from home? They reject my repeat prescription requests, with no reason, then deny that this has happened, I'm left without medication and the only option is to go to casualty.

This was a very good GP surgery and I had recommended this surgery to lots of family and friends but unfortunately it has gone downhill very quickly. The new triage system is the final straw. I can understand why they would implement it but they have not done it correctly and the new receptionist is clueless. I can now no longer book a GP appointment so not sure what to do. I guess this was the aim of the surgery to stop people being able to see a GP. This seems like they are slowly pushing everyone into going private or just letting them be sick without treatment.

I have been a patient at this practice for many years. The service has always been fantastic, from the receptionists though to the clinical nurses and GPs. Never had a problem getting an appointment and always had great care. This practice is a credit to the NHS, keep up the great work.

The building is easy access via steps or a ramp, with automatic sliding doors to allow access to reception. There is hand sanitiser available before entering the main building, and also on the wall by the electronic touch screen sign in screen. Reception is easy to find, being directly opposite the entry doors, and there are plenty of seats available to wait on whilst awaiting your appointment. There is a lift just inside the main doors, that provides access to the facilities that are offered on the first floor if you require an easier way up than the staircase which is just to the side of the lift.

SPMP offers a very professional service which continued even during lock down despite severe constraints. When necessary we have always been offered a f2f appointment. The ladies in reception at times deal with very difficult situations but do so with patience and diligence. Thank you.

I always call on behalf of my mother and father in-law who I care for. The reception staff are extremely friendly and are always very helpful. The doctors always get back to me in a timely manner and always go the extra mile.

I want to file complaint against a doctor that visited my son last week, Friday 9th September. Her name is Lara Walford and her behaviour towards patients is very unethical. I don't think so she follows the certain rules or obligations to be a proper doctor. She definitely doesn't have basic empathy. I went to her on Friday 9th September at 16.40, as my son is suffering from very frequently ear infections. The doctor just very briefly check his left ear and confirmed the infection. Without even bother to take his temperature or investigate why he is having such a frequently infections, she quickly checked the antibiotic that was prescribed to him only 3 weeks earlier from another doctor and proceeded to repeat the same prescription. I gave her a little of history of the situation and expressed my concerns on how much and how often my poor 4 years old have to take strong doses of antibiotics and I asked her if there was anything else we could do. She then disrespectfully answered: "Can you then afford a private doctor? This is the maximum we can do!" I honestly was shocked at first. I took my prescription and just left. Then I started to elaborate the rudeness and the inopportune answer she gave me. Obviously I cannot afford a private doctor, I wouldn't waste my time otherwise, but this is not the point. What kind of doctor answer like that?!?! Shouldn't a GP be there to help and reassure us? Should a GP be an ethical Doctor? I could have requested a repeat prescription myself without bothering to take an appointment, come to the surgery and be treated that way. I have changed medical centre recently because I thought that my original GP wasn't doing enough and now I ended up with a doctor that doesn't want to do her job properly and she is also very rude. My friend highly recommended this surgery but I am very disappointed. An apology would be appreciated.
