   It is common knowledge that NHS is on its knees and that an average waiting time for an appointment is couple of weeks. That's why I ended up trying to deal with an insect bite turning nasty at home and kept dismissing family suggestions to get medical attention. Finally on a late afternoon on 28/08/25 I called surgery thinking this was going to be a waste of time. Well, it was amazing experience. Lovely and attentive lady receptionist listened and acted with due care. She directed me to another surgery, booked my appointment, send me location. I was seen by a doctor one hour later, got my prescription, was told where to go to get meds at that late hour. Everyone - reception team at Park Way surgery, reception team at Farley Road surgery, doctor at Farley Road surgery - were amazing. And that's not a word I use often in same sentence as "NHS", sadly. I called next day to thank the reception team. I understand the constraints but I can't help to be impressed by my experience.

   i'm genuinely shocked at how they have been with my mothers problem. she's not been able to see a GP in person for something that requires f2f, and working in a GP myself, she should've had some sort of priority. i had to seek advice from elsewhere and she ended up in emergency services with a lot of problems. please be understanding with patients.

   Abrupt customer service, not helpful, rude on the phone. The whole doctor practice both headley and parkway! Don’t receive call backs, appointments cancelled within hours before the arranged time, appointments booked with the wrong nurse or doctor so are unable to follow through with the appointment as they don’t do certain things such as, jabs etc but why book me in with them, Any prescriptions ordered I put down my local pharmacy and they always go to another one get the same problem over and over again. These are my local doctors which do not make me feel reassured and I dread having to call them! To many problems! Sort it out!

   Excellent service , but especially the receptionist lady who is pregnant( unfortunately I don’t know her name ) she is kind, considerate and most importantly really cares about the patients. Update on the 21/12/22 Today I visited the practice and I get like I wanted to give a comment on my experience: Dr Lavan Baskaran! Is the best doctor I have ever seen in the United Kingdom! He is very professional and very very knowledgeable! He encouraged me to ask questions and he really wanted to know more about my medical condition. He is extremely helpful and a good listener. I felt really at ease and was treated with dignity and respect

   I had a telephone appointment last Wednesday with Dr Chen, he was very compassionate and listened to my concerns, Whilst l had a other matter l wanted to discuss ,He booked me a face to face appointment to see him today.When l booked in at reception Fran the receptionist.kindly let me know the doctor was running a little behind and how many patients was before me , which was helpful and she was polite and smiling.When l saw Dr Chen he was very apologetic of how long l had waited to see him and explained the reasons why .he listened to my concerns and said he would like me to have some test done.I didn’t have appointment for my blood test to be taking today , but l saw the nurse as l was leaving and she fitted me in for my blood test her name was Bernie. My experience today at your doctors was pleasant, friendly and helpful.Well done to all of you and thank you .

   have been with this surgery all my life. can always get an apt if needed and all the staff are really helpful. The drs even text messages to follow you up which is a really nice personal touch. wouldnt change them
