Went to urgent care centre as I have been unwell, whoever saw me not sure if she was a nurse or a doctor, told me to go to the pharmacy to get said drug, I asked her if she could prescribe it instead and she said no it can be bought over the counter, we went back and forth a few times and she still didn’t prescribe it I went to the pharmacy who then told me I need a prescription for the said drug??? Why are people who can’t do their job seeing patients? A healthcare professional should know if a drug is viable prescription or not !!! What a waste of my time and tax money that I’m paying. Chase farm need to do better
I came to urgent care centre after falling down stairs. I was triaged very quickly and sent for X-ray. The dr saw me soon after and confirmed fracture. I was sent home with one of those special shoes. All in all I was in and out within half an hour. I’m very happy with the medical care I received. In these days of nhs difficulties I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you all concerned
Offered & given a wheel chair on arrival, given numbered ticket which ensured all seen in turn regardless, how quickly some patients got to the queue. Seen by Nurse Practitioner Sharon who dealt with the issue efficiently. In & out in 40 minutes!
I am visiting Enfield and attended the urgent care centre. The service was extremely professional, efficient from reception to the lovely nurse that saw me. The nurse was very competent and reassuring. High praise to all for the wonderful service provided.
Have been a couple of times taking my family. Both times the wait was fairly short and we were happy with the inspection/treatment. All the staff seemed very professional and helpful
I’ve used the urgent care at Chase Farm several times (for my children mostly) and the care has always been excellent. The nurses and doctors have always been friendly and treatment has been excellent. The wait can be long but I think everyone expects this now.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! 90 minute wait for triage, 2 HOUR wait to be seen by a 'nurse practitioner' (because they don't have any Doctors), to then be told I should have gone to Barnet A&E. Only use this place of you've cut your finger or similar as, for anything more involved or complicated, they are USELESS!!!
My experiences of the Urgent Care Centre at Chase Farm Hospital have always been positive. The staff, from the receptionists to the nurses, have always been kind and compassionate towards me. There is a long wait to be seen but that’s to be expected given the demand on NHS services. Thank you to the staff at the Chase Farm Urgent Care Centre :)
Excellent care by a nurse practitioner today. Felt I was listened to, excellent explanations and felt I was not being rushed out for a change. Glad we have such professionals that do such a good job- thank you.
