First contacted surgery Tuesday 9th December hoping to see a doctor - I only want some Melatonin. Told to complete econsult. Did so. Locum calls Wednesday tells me can't prescribe as it's addictive: everywhere you look it says the great advantage of Melatonin is it's not addictive. Having found this out I call surgery and am told best thing is to start another econsult form. Then I'm messaged to say I have a telephone appointment for 6th January 2026. I push that back and then have a message to say that a doctor will call 23rd December - so 2 weeks from my first econsult. When there was a walk-in surgery you turned up; waited and saw a doctor that morning. Who does this current system benefit?? It is certainly NOT the patient; who is the service being run for - not the patient. What are the medical team doing all day - we, the local patients, aren't seeing the doctors - how is the econsult system benefitting. When a patient walks in to a face to face meeting a good physician makes a judgement very quickly of someone's health: looking at their pallor; their walk; their demeanor (happy, sad, in pain); their attitude; are they clean; shaven; is clothing fresh etc.etc. a phone call tells you nothing. I am bitterly disappointed that as a relatively well user of the "service" it is no longer serving the patients adequately.

Absolutely ridiculous. Booked an appointment to have my contraceptive implant checked as it has sunken into my arm deeply. (Fitted by them). I have said it is not working the same as before (fitted by a different GP, and before by a women's health clinic) I am bleeding, which has never happened before on the implant. Dr. Nze takes one look at my arm and says its working just fine. I asked for a blood test to see my hormone levels, refused. I asked to have it taken out and refitted? Also refused because i still have a year to go with it. Because it's procedure/ the rules? It is a joke. Any ladies please do not leave your reproductive health care in this woman's hands! She thinks after a brief look at my arm that my implant is a hundred percent effective. (no hormonal contraception is a hundred percent, by the way. Only 99. Says so on the package.) As i'm writing this i'm booking an appointment with a women's health clinic. This doesn't apply to all their other staff, Dr. Patel is awesome and so are some of the nurses. But do not go to Dr. Nze for your reproductive health. Please, save yourself the trouble.

This GP is the worst I have ever seen, and they should be shut down because their incompetence is compared to none. I was with my former Gp for 14yrs the best GP ever, then I had to move house and registering at London lane clinic is the worst mistake I have ever done. First time going there for an appointment I waited for an 1hrs30 for the doctor, no information was given nor apology. Secondly I sent my inhaler prescription over to my pharmacy as usual, but received different inhaler instead, called my pharmacy to know what happened they said it was my Gp that changed the prescription, I called the Gp to know who made that authorisation they denied it and told me that a Dr will call me back, waited for for a week nothing called back and was told they don’t know what to do, sent another prescriptions together with my depression medicine, guess what they approved only the depression medicine and ignored my inhaler. I’m severely asthmatic especially during the winter period, and I can’t even get my inhaler. This place is a No No for me. Pulling out as soon as I can. Started looking for another GP.

Review written on the 11.09.2025. Since December 2024 I have done done 4 econsults at this surgery and only 1 time did I actually have the GP call me, even though each time I got an email saying that they would by a certain time and date. My December appointment never happened? I called them directly to notify them and also used the link on their econsult form that says "contact them using the link in your confirmation email" Same for my appointment in July. No phone call, nothing. Currently they have not called me for an appointment I was expecting yesterday 10.09.2025. So for me at least, I have a 25% chance of actually get any form of treatment. I have used the link at the bottom of the consult email 6 times at least now. "I haven’t heard back from you yet regarding my consultation at 12:31PM on Tuesday, 9th of September. My eConsult reference number is: 6B1*****" "Thank you. You've let the practice know you haven't heard back from them about your online consultation in the expected timeframe. Your practice will now try to call you as soon as possible" Have done this 6 times now. 18/10/25. Still waiting for an appointment from the 10/09/25 so we're now at 5 weeks. . . . . Absolutely useless.

I’m incredibly grateful for the excellent care I consistently receive at my GP clinic. The doctors are not only professional and knowledgeable but also attentive, compassionate, and efficient, every concern is taken seriously, and prescriptions are handled promptly. A special thank you to the reception team, who are always kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They manage appointments smoothly and go the extra mile to make patients feel supported from the moment they walk in or call.

This place is shocking. Do the e-consult, get assigned a random day for a phone appt with no time slot. They call when I’m out with bad signal and rather than try again later, they simply say I need to book another appt. In what world is this an acceptable way to run a doctor surgery.

This place is no long a GP surgery, it's a call center. They want you to book via phone or do e consult forms and then the Dr will call you at some stage, normally a few days late. The Dr will then ask you all the same questions as you filled out on the e consult form, so what was the point in spending all that time filling out the form? It's like they don't even bother to read the notes. Better off just having one box to fill in"Why do you want to see a doctor?" They will then guess your condition and give you medication or treatment based upon assumptions. That cycle goes on and year(s) later you actually see medical professionals in person and the your condition is completely different to the one they have treated you for. The service they are providing now is no better than using an online symptom checker and then self diagnosing. One of the receptionist doesn't give you time to answer the questions that she has asked you, it ends in a confusing conversation.

I really, really hope a better and more efficient way to request repeated prescriptions will be created because I had to go through some HELL over the holidays. With my previous GP I could request it either through the NHS app or through a Google form which was pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, that's not the case with London Lane as you can only call or email. That's fine and up until December I didn't really have issues with it (other than the lack of convenience) but for some reason this time it seems their inbox wasn't completely monitored and my email on Sunday went unnoticed. When I went to the pharmacy on Thursday, it turned out my prescription was not received. This wouldn't be an issue if the prescription in question wasn't my antidepressants which I had run out of. Fast forward, it's a bank holiday, then New year's followed by another bank holiday so in the middle of it all I began going into withdrawals and had a bit of an emotional breakdown on the 31st when I was supposed to be having a good time and not be depressed (for once). I haven't had to deal with withdrawals in more than half a year so this was unpleasant and unexpected. At this point I can handle having to wait another couple of days even if the mood swings are a bit unbearable. Anyway, some of this might've been unnecessary information but as you can tell I am not in the best state of mind right now. From now on I will only call directly to make sure my prescription request will be received. Again, that's not that bad but to avoid having another person queueing on the line and to speed up the overall process, will you please consider making it possible to request prescriptions online? It would make a difference, I promise. Edit: Just called and was told to email my request... wish me luck!

Other than the front desk secretaries, who are lovely, the clinic itself is wholly incompetent. I was put up to 40mg in my medication, I was continually given 20mg via the pharmacy (London Lane Prescriptions had not been made aware of the increase). Thus, I have had to double the 20mg given. Now that I have run out they refuse to repeat my prescription as I was given 2 months worth of 20mg which I used in a month (due to doubling). After finding this out for myself I have to have a phone call with a gp to re-confirm my 40mg dosage. A huge waste of time and stressful, the making of which was caused by the clinic and their lack of communication. Thanks to the secretaries for their enormous help though. Thanks to London Lane Clinic for messing up my prescription.
