Have an appointment booked here and absolutely no way to contact the surgery, other than writing a letter or going there in person (50-minute trip each way). The number given on the letter goes through to a 'disconnected' sound. The number here, on Google, is for a completely other Silverthorn medical trust to do with blood-testing, and is not located on the site of the address listed. The only contact that CQC has listed is a mobile phone number, which goes through to some anonymous person's answerphone. Not even an email address. It raises a lot of questions for me about what kind of practice this is, where they have no active contact details. At least it seems very disorganised from the get-go.

The worst communication and service I have ever gotten. I wasn't even able to get my blood test done as there was a complication within the system I booked through. I wasn't notified of this mistake on their part and arrived at the appointment. The lady was sternly telling me I was the one in the wrong for making the appointment but it’s not my fault that the system has not been updated, as my blood test letter had a link provided to the centre’s booking website. Very very bad communication.

I visited Silverthorne Center for a blood test. After greeting the staff member named Pam, I politely asked if she could take the blood from my right arm since I’m left-handed. Instead of responding kindly, she spoke to me in a harsh and serious tone, saying “let me ask your name first.” I told her there’s no need to be so tense during her work and that she should be more kind and patient. Unfortunately, her attitude made me feel very uncomfortable. If a staff member is tired or dealing with personal issues, it doesn’t give them the right to treat patients poorly. I hope this behavior is addressed.

My husband had a blood test booked here today, first time at this location as the Walthamstow clinic we have used before is closed. Was a bit anxious given the reviews, but after dropping him off at the door at the rear of the building, I pulled into the parking lot opposite. Sent him a message saying where I was parked, got out to faff about with some stuff in the boot and, by the time I was closing the boot, he was walking back towards me, all done! He said the staff were really nice, too. Cannot imagine how it could have been a better experience. Thank you!

The worst centre to obtain blood test please don’t go there unless you want to be traumatized. I took my daughter there to have a blood test done on December 11 at 15:50. The nurse was very rude. My daughter was sick and the nurse said she can’t locate the vein on her arm. She then inserted the needle into my daughter’s arm and literally moving the needle in circular motion inside her hand and trying to find a vein while my daughter is in pain and traumatized. She started to do the same in the other arm too. I tried to interrupt her by holding her hand but she shooed me off (exclaiming don’t touch me) and kept on moving the needle in my daughter with no success in extracting any sample. She claimed she had more than 20 years of experience of working in the area but what she did tells that she has no clue what she is doing. How come someone who had worked for so long try to extract a blood sample by inserting a needle into a child’s hand and try to find a vein by moving a needle inside the body? This is outrageous and totally an unacceptable medical malpractice. My daughter is now saying she will not go ever to any centre to give a blood test sample as she is traumatized.

Nurse was very rude. I simply requested if my left arm can be injected instead of my right and she was so rude about it. Please don’t work in the field if you don’t know how to be kind and how to treat patients. Disgusting attitude!

Never book a blood test here. Due to traffic I was 10 minutes late and by then (even though it wasn’t closing time yet) i was told that the phlebotomist had clocked out so now I have to wait another month just for a blood test. I had even called the practice 5 times to inform them I was going to be late but NO ONE responded. Moreover, the receptionist who told me I was late was being so pretentious and rude about it like it was my fault the phlebotomist clocked out early. For Gods sake it’s a blood test it’ll take 5 minutes, it’s not my fault your “doctors” clock out early. So unprofessional… it’s disgusting.

I have spent the best part of Friday afternoon phoning this clinic only to get no one to answer the phone! Do they actually work Friday afternoons? Absolutely appalling service

Appalling & Embarrassing, I had a blood test appointment today 10th Oct at 15.55. I asked the receptionist where to go and she said “ they are closed , they go at 4 o’clock, I replied “ but its not 4oclock yet, and I have an appointment at 15.55.” She then said “ they sometimes go early”…….How unprofessional and embarrassing.
