The worst surgery I have ever come across in my life! The receptionist all rude and think that they can speak to people however they like then hang up when you challenge their behavior. You can't even get an appointment for a child who's extremely sick! It's not wonder the hospitals are over worked when your local GP won't see you!

I’m 31 weeks pregnant and needed a Fit to Fly certificate, which I’m entitled to request and use until 36 weeks if there are no complications. I followed the clinic’s instructions and requested it via the portal on 24/07. I was then booked an appointment for 05/08, which I assumed was to issue the certificate. Despite calling reception beforehand to confirm, I was told repeatedly “I’m not a clinician, speak to the doctor,” even though I wasn’t asking for medical advice—just to confirm the reason for the appointment. At the appointment, the doctor said they can’t issue Fit to Fly certificates as it’s “not an NHS service.” I explained I was willing to pay, but was told they don’t do them and I should speak to reception. The receptionist supervisor then said “We are very understaffed, we won’t be able to do this for the next 10 days,” and when I asked why this wasn’t mentioned when I called 10 days ago, she hung up the call. We were passed between staff, none of whom seemed to know the procedure or wanted to take responsibility. One said to wait for the secretary to return from a 4-week holiday and decide what to do. Another shrugged and gave no answer after seeing NHS guidance confirming GPs can issue such letters. The whole experience was stressful, confusing, and honestly very disappointing—especially during pregnancy. No one took ownership, communication was poor, and I still have no solution.

This is truly the worst GP I have ever been registered at. Unfortunately it's the only option in the area. The practice never runs on time, the receptionists are unhelpful and rude, something as simple as getting a prescription can often take weeks of constant pestering and phone calls before they finally pull their finger out and do something about it, often too late at that point.

I would not sign up with this gp practice ive been experiencing many problems here, starting from dr barney prescribing me the wrong medication and had my body shaking for a whole month only to find out i was given wrong medication for the problem i was experiencing after complaining there was no response. The receptionist are absolutely useless and rude (sharleen) has a horrible attitude on the phone and face to face she swore at me in the practice while her manager mrs Dickson sat and watched it not saying anything to her. Another problem its taken them 1 year to give me a letter i have been requesting and upon finally giving me it they wrote the complete opposite to what was asked. The service is horrible starting from the receptionists to the doctors

Been at this surgery since I was born, had no problems with anyone if anything they are all so nice except for the receptionist called Miss Dixon. I have no idea how she is working at a GP receptionist. She has no patience and shows lack of respect to patients. This I thought was just myself but I have friends and family that are patients at the surgery and have had the same problems with her. Born and bred in Britain and Miss Dixon talks to you like you do not understand English almost belittling. Thank you to all the members of this practice hopefully you can ask Miss Dixon to shadow you guys so she can pick up some people skills.

I called to book an appointment (40 minutes on hold). I was directed to use the website and book a virtual appointment. The website does not allow you to book appointments for my health issue. I had to select "general advice" appointment. I did not receive my virtual appointment. I had to go through the website and remind them of my appointment. A day later they called me to tell me I may be seen in person in 2 weeks time. It shouldn't take 3 days to book an appointment. ------ 2023 Update: Additionally when calling for test results (28 minutes on hold), the staff were rude, incompetent and inefficient.

absolute horror service WASTE OF MY TIME joined the queue and as soon i had the chance to speak to someone, they said all the appts had gone might as well go to the hospital because at least you are guaranteed to get seen trust, go somewhere else don’t waste your time here

My review is for JENNIFER on reception. I called today making a few inquiries regarding treatment I'm waiting for. Jennifer was soo lovely! Patient Informative - as possible in this case She listened to my issue, and even though she couldn't help with a certain question she heard me and understood. Good Doctor receptionist! This is the first review I have made on this surgery in 7 years.

Very useless gp managed by useless people. Not even an online facility to book appointments, instead u get a jam-packed fone calls from 8am everyday and as a result, u get cut off the call cos of too many callers. No system in place to cancel an appt in emergency and yet they'll hold u responsible if u don't. All the GPs in Waltham Forest are completely useless. They need to wake up.

Sign of the times how difficult it is to see your GP. Have to wait in a call que from 8am and then get cut off. Can't get back on the call list again. This is just to get an appointment. Process of getting to see your GP isn't even worth one star. Been like this for years and nothing gets better.
