From beginning to the last step, the team has been wonderful and helpful through this difficult journey. We felt safe, they were not judgemental and very professional. A special thank you to Joanna who was very empathetic, reassuring and helped my partner a lot.

Couldn't have asked for a better/ more reassuring experience as someone who was terrified beforehand! I had conscious sedation for the surgical procedure. Overall: - Staff was amazingly lovely (The only name I remember was Fatima who was very comforting, but everyone I met from the consultation lady, to the doctor and ladies in the procedure room were all very calming) - Procedure was completely pain free for me personally but they explained everything to me before hand and what to expect. - They were very good at keeping my privacy considering how personal the procedure is. - Even now about 2 days later I've had minimal bleeding and zero period pain or any pain/discomfort, once again personal experience. - Felt extremely sleepy and tired but it was relaxing and the nurses continuously monitored me and updated me on what was going on, asking if I was okay. - I would say I was there for about 2hours in total, majority was waiting and being in the recovery room, procedure was very quick and they got me in quite fast. To anybody that's nervous for their appointment, that will disappear when you meet these lovely people and they're more than happy to answer a million questions you may have!

I had my surgical procedure today. People in the surgery room were lovely but the lady Elle in the recovery room was moody and didn't even check up on us, the other nurse called Fatima was lovely!! Ellie was speaking down to her most of the time and I felt so bad for her. Iff it wasn't for Fatima I wouldn't had felt at ease! Overall surgery experience was good.

After having a missed miscarriage I booked myself in to BPAS and I was so pleased with the whole experience. Initially I went for the medical pills route however I ended up changing my mind and I’m quite glad I did. I did surgical vacuum aspiration with local anaesthetic and after reading some horror stories online, I was petrified. However as soon as I got the clinic everyone was so lovely and efficient. If you can I would recommend getting the earliest slot as it did get quite busy after. The midwives were so nice and took all my vitals and answered any questions I had. The surgery itself was practically pain free however this depends on your tolerance. I wouldn’t say I’m the best with pain but this was definitely more uncomfortable than painful. I was in and out in around 10 minutes. The surgery process: a speculum was inserted and opened up, (this was uncomfortable, but not painful at all), they then clean inside which again isn’t painful just a weird feeling. They then inject the cervix to numb it, Marco used a very thin needle and I asked if I would feel it but he said usually women don’t but if you do it’s a quick sting) I didn’t feel a thing. He also mentioned that the area they inject isn’t very sensitive hence why usually people don’t feel it. He then stood to the side for 2 minutes while it started working. He then proceeded to clean once more I believe and began with the suction. I thought the machine would be louder but I could barely hear it. One nurse scanned my stomach whilst the doctor used the vacuum. I would say this took about 2 minutes of suction, if that. I was surprised how quick it was and I would describe it as more pressure being applied than it being painful. That’s all I could feel, slight pressure but that’s all. I was expecting really bad pain after the stories I had read online but it was about a 1/10 pain wise. Around a 3/10 discomfort. It was over within a few minutes and I was shocked at how quick it was. I had slight cramping after and they gave me a hot drink, pain relief to ease the pain and some biscuits. They all made me feel so comfortable and really reassured me. They checked my bleeding, and my vitals again and I was discharged. Very pleasant experience considering it can be a very rough time emotionally. Thank you

I had an appointment here on Wednesday 11th and all the staff were so kind, reassuring and just genuinely lovely. Even the lady on reception was so sweet and really caring. I was so nervous about coming here but I felt completely at ease as soon as I walked in for the appointment. You can tell every member of staff here really cares about the wellbeing of the people they see. Even as I was waiting to see different members of staff the nurses kept checking on me to make sure I was okay. Thank you to everyone that I saw on this day and you all really made me feel a lot less anxious than I was before the appointment.

I was directed here from every call I’ve made and this place is one of the worst services i have received so far. Although it is registered with NHS for the area I’m living in London, they kept telling me to pay a price of 480£ for a medical abortion… where it should have been free in the first place! Also kept redirecting to other places.

Traveled over an hour to get there , on arrival was told I would be hear for 2 1/2 hours . Had to see 3 separate nurses , they would only let me to go in alone so I had no support and felt uncomfortable . Staff was friendly . But should of bin told all this information on the phone instead I was led to believe it would all b over an done with at this appointment .
