I moved away a while ago but hearing how hard it is to get an appointment in a location you want and see a doctor you want even when you have to break down your medical issue to the non-medical secretary. I wonder which doctors support the changes.

Just called them for an enquiry other than scheduling an appointment. I was "caller number one in the queue" from the very beginning. However, don't be fooled as this means nothing with Chislehurst Surgery. Nobody could be bovvered to pick up the call for 40 minutes. It is plainly obvious that you are nothing other than a nuisance and inconvenience for them. They do not care one bit about you, they care only about themselves.

What an absolute joke. My wife and I needed our children immunisation verified for visas abroad, a stamp and signature. Was told that it would be two weeks for someone to look at the two forms with the immunisations and check them against their records. It has been close to three weeks and we have visited multiple times. The lady at the front desk has been extremely unhelpful and now the timeline for the children to get their visas in time has now passed. No care in the world. We were just told it could be 28 days and someone would call. Any Dr or nurse can sign the form. My colleagues paid their GP to do it and was done in a day. This is ridiculous!!! Disgusting service

Extremely rude receptionists and Doctors particularly that smallish Indian doctor Dr Howell, rude, impatient and not helpful. Avoid her. Whatβs the point of being a GP if youβre not patient enough to listen to patients. Donβt register with them, you're better off with another surgery.

My doctor is absolutely wonderful however reception front staff is very poor. Never return calls and the call wait time is crazy. Sometimes when i finally do get through my call gets disconnected.

Apart from an isolated encounter, treatment advice and care has been excellent. Online consultation is simple and effective. The screens in the waiting room however are on a constant loop and very distracting to the point of distressing for some patients. It causes people to miss when their names are called out and results in delays to doctors and patients alike. Please just use the screens to display which patients are next and avoid looping videos with audio.

Useless receptionists who are rude, Doctors who are disinterested and seem like they want to get through the appointments as quickly as possible not really caring what they diagnose you with, offer them any sort of information and they'll jump on the first thing and tell you that's what the problem is. Impossible to secure an appointment unless you hold on the phone for 30-40 mins and then only ever available at inconvenient times. Was told to go for a blood test and expect a call with results in 3-5 days, 3 weeks later and having chased twice was told by an admin person the results were 'satisfactory' and that's why they didn't call. I asked what satisfactory meant and was told they didn't know, asked to speak to a doctor on the phone and was told they could book me in for a telephone chat in 3 weeks! Absolutely ridiculous.

I requested a repeat prescription, to save having an appointment with the doctor, on Thursday and it still was not ready the following Tuesday! The staff are more interested in telling you how long it's going to take than genuinely helping people and on the very rare occasion I have been ill an appointment at a convenient time is a joke. That is why I will be moving surgeries!
