Great customer service. Went for a blood test. Nurse Danielle was great. Hardly knew it was happening and I hate giving blood.

I’m very disappointed with the way I was treated by the receptionist. I contacted the service with a genuine concern and explained in detail what I needed, but I was met with indifference and a lack of basic understanding. I had to repeat myself several times, and still wasn’t properly listened to. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told they weren’t in. I asked if they would be in the next day, and was simply told “I don’t know.” No effort was made to take my details or arrange a callback. It felt like my concerns were being dismissed completely. I expected at least a basic level of care and communication. I’m leaving this review because I feel like it’s the only way I might get the attention of someone who actually takes patient concerns seriously.
During the Easter vacation we visited friends and my daughter's godmother in London. On the second day I had an incredibly severe headache with very high pressure in the head area... Went to the Olive Health & Travel Clinic for treatment. Thanks to the friendly welcome and an absolutely competent nurse, the initial fears of seeking medical help in a foreign country were allayed. The young Doctor on duty took several blood samples. Unbelievably, I felt almost nothing... (I must note that my veins are very hard to find!). For the first time, they didn't prescribe painkillers straight away and wanted to wait for the blood results. This shows that you are not perceived as a number, but that they want to get to the root of the exact cause. That's what I call COMPETENCE. I was told to measure and record my blood pressure every hour for the next 24 hours. The blood values arrived by email the same night. In the early morning, I received a video call from the internist Dr. Belma Yesilada Yagbasan. After asking me a lot of questions, she went through the results with me. I have to say that I have been suffering from these headaches for years and they have always been attributed to migraines with painkillers. The internist diagnosed high blood pressure based on the 24-hour measurement and the results of the blood test and immediately recommended the appropriate treatment and pre-medication... After arriving in Austria, I was told to go to an internist with the results... The clinic and its specialist staff are incredibly competent and friendly, treat the causes and I felt well treated for the first time after years of pain... I can therefore recommend the clinic with a clear conscience... You are in good medical hands at the Olive Health & Travel Clinic. THANKS TO THE ENTIRE TEAM! YOU ARE REALLY AMONG THE ELITE!!!!
Although, I must add, that the particular area in which the otherwise helpful, lovely and quaint little clinic is located, does have a little more than its own fair share of social deprivation, shall we say... but let's just leave it at that!
My first interaction with Olive was less than satisfactory and I did leave a review to reflect my disappointment. On reflection and the excetional service I got at my following appointment I have removed it. Despite my negative review previously they did not hesitate to offer me an appointment. Once at the appointment the clinician explained exactly why the previous appointment was cancelled which I now believe was beyond their control. My recent appointment was first class. The procedure didn't go exactly to plan which was entirely my fault. The owner was keen to complete the procedure and came to my home the next day to complete it. This was over an hour drive each way. The clinic understood the importance of my procedure and the possible knock results on if I didn't complete it as required. The home visit which I considered above and beyond sucessfully completed my treatment. Special thanks to Hina for her expertise and dedication to completing the treatment.
Very impressive. Warm friendly welcome, easy to book an appointment and my appointment was on time. Documented follow up both on paper and email. Recommended.
I have visited this clinic many times over the years for vaccinations, bloods and COVID tests. I have always found the best service possible. Staff are polite, efficient and helpful and will go out of their way to deliver the best experience. My daughter also had bloods here and will not go anywhere else. I have recently moved over an hour drive away from this area but I will keep coming back. Honestly have not read a single bad review that has any merit to it. You can't complain about the upfront and clear price of a private healthcare provider. I have also been quoted way more for blood tests elsewhere.
I first used Olive Health & Travel Clinic back in the early days of covid. I used them for my daughters and I Fit to Fly tests. We received a professional and courteous service. I used them again recently for my Day 2 and again the same professional and speedy service. I really do recommend them, they're prompt and precise. Always nice women in that place. Can't fault them at all. I've used other places inbetween that haven't been as nice or efficient. Think I will stick to them from now on.
