I'm quite local hence for convenience sake still kept my registration here but in the last 12 years the service has steadily gone down. Receptionists were kind and helpful, now over the phone they are rude, robotic and unhelpful . The medical service providers are not always welcoming/warm and doesn't give confidence and feels like you're asking for a favour and as a patient doesn't give you a feel good factor which I feel is an important aspect of getting well - to be able to ask questions etc. The online form is inaccessible 24/7, so you can't book an appointment out of hours even with the online form. I did however receive good help from them in the early opening days of this medical centre, they have improved their enrollment and a few times this year I was happily surprised by their service, hence put up the rating to 2 instead of 0, but generally not impressed with them at all. I really hope they improve their services as location wise this is so convenient.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I think all NHS GPs and their receptionists are deeply evil and cruel people, but this lot make the rest of them seem like angels. Reception staff are incredibly rude and regularly give the wrong information, including incorrect appointment times. Because they give you the wrong times, you then miss the appointment and they penalise you for it. They rarely answer the phone, but when you go round to speak to them in person, they're all sitting there doing nothing! They are deeply unfriendly, mean-spirited, and lack compassion. The online admin system very clearly tells you to ask for specific things in specific channels, but when you follow those channels, you get a snarky message back from reception telling you that you've done it wrong when you haven't! You then redo it, and its suddenly fine, but by that point you've wasted 24-48 hours. I've taken to putting the same request in on several different channels, hoping just one of them gets approved. At one point, they FORGOT to put a very important referral in for me, which extended my wait time by an entire year. They've also accidentally declined vital medication, forcing me to go around the houses to get it fixed. I have been outright declined healthcare for various issues and conditions, including chronic pain, hypermobility, and fainting. GPs only want to see a single symptom at a time, when most conditions are diagnosed based on multiple symptoms in connection. I've even just asked them to note down complaints, so I can demonstrate how long I've had specific issues in the future if they worsen. They refuse. Repeatedly. I've also had to claim I was suffering with suicidal ideation (only partly untrue) to be taken seriously regarding my health issues at all. I cannot stress this enough - AVOID this practice.

terrible experience. i requested an appointment online and was told i will receive a phone call consultation on friday at 6pm. i dont receive one and call them before closing and they advise me that i will receive a call. i stay up until 9pm and no one calls me. i have to wait until monday morning to call them and explain my situation. they say i will receive a call between 10-12 in the morning. i dont !! its very frustrating as i need a blood test urgently as i have low iron and it keeps being delayed. avoid this GP at all costs !!

I am so happy with the service of the team. I had given a birth to my baby 9 days ago and on my discharge from the hospital I was given medication for my C-section and injections. But no explanation who will be supporting me with the injections. So the day came when no one came home to help me with that so I went to gp practice with my new born baby to see what I can do to get my injections done. I encountered a lovely reception staff. I explained the situation to them, with my baby in my hands, and asked if anyone can help me with that. The Indian lady ( apologies as I forgot the name) helped me enormously. She found a doctor who gave me the injection and try to find someone for the next days as this was urgent one off. I can not express how grateful I am for the help and support they offer me. Royal Arsenal Medical Centre is a great place with a lovely supportive staff. I want to thank you for your help.

I moved to this area about two years ago and this medical centre’s booking system to see a doctor is totally unacceptable. It is nearly impossible to get an appointment, they do not pick up the phone and the online e-consult system is only available at very limited hours. If patients want to book non-urgent appointments, they should be able to book in advance through a phone call. There should be a set number of slots each day kept available for urgent appointments which are only bookable on the day. This avoids congestion on the phone line in the morning and provides a more orderly and fair system for patients. This is the system that was used in my previous clinic, and it worked very well - I never had a single problem with booking an appointment in the 30+ years I lived there.

Shockingly unprofessional! Had 2 different prescriptions for the same drug which means that every month I pay twice to collect it. Went to the practice… they told me I need to call a specific phone number. Spent hours for someone to answer the phone and finally asked them to combine the two prescriptions. The lady seemed to have understood… Today I went to the pharmacy and there are still 2 separate prescriptions!!!!!!! ….grossly incompetent and shocking unprofessional service! Maybe it’s time for privatisation!?

This is a superb surgery. Friendly and supportive. Beyond duties. They frequently chase me up for screening and tests or vaccination! The specialist nurse Ishmael is super efficient and encouraging. Truly blessed to be a patient here. Highly recommended...

Very professional staff. It's clear they follow strict procedures throughout your visit. It might seem a bit cold at first, but actually it ends up inspiring confidence because of their consistency. Had a few hiccups with scripts transfer to the pharmacy but nothing to write home about. Thanks to the whole team !

I give one star because I cannot give anything less. Now most days they don't even let you fill out the online form so they can call you back at some point (I don't understand how even online forms are switched off). Then if you want to make an appointment on the phone it takes around 2 hours on hold to then tell you that there are no appointments available that day and you can't book an appointment in advance. Also, very unsympathetic staff on the other side of the phone and very unhelpful as well. My question now is, how do you make an appointment?. So frustrating.
