Nice centre at Romford, lovely professional staff. Had a very nice experience during my cataract surgery. Highly recommend.

I cannot fault this clinic in anyway, from the receptionists, the clinical nurses to the surgeon. Even Paul at the door to sign you in. Looked after so well, nothing is too much trouble. Had surgery on Tuesday and I can honestly say, two days later , my vision is amazing. Thank you to everyone at Spamedica Romford
I would give 0 starts if i could but the treatment i got here was terrible I would not recommend this place to anyone. I got recommended to get a cataract eye surgery but little did i know they would have ruined my eyesight by recommending me the wrong thing saying my eye was ready for this surgery even though it was not. I had it done on my right eye and they kept the information away from me about the fact they made a mistake during the surgery saying it only happens to 1/100 people but weeks later they say it was their fault. Now my eyesigh is completley blurry and it upsets me alot knowing my lifestyle will not be the same as before.
I was referred by my optician to Spamedica to be assessed if I needed YAG laser treatment to my left eye I got my assessment appointment very quickly I have now had my assessment and it was confirmed that I do need YAG laser to rectify the problem I cannot thank the Spamedica staff enough for their professionalism and my care throughout the assessment process I have still to get my YAG laser treatment appointment I really look forward to returning to Romford to complete my treatment Well done Spamedica I’ve now had my YAG laser treatment at Romford I’m so pleased with the way I’ve been looked after by the Spamedica nurses and optometrists . Starting with my assessment right through to having my YAG Laser procedure carried out 10 out of 10
Friendly staff but a bit of a conveyor belt experience and the parking is not great.
From first greeting on door by Paul through reception to the nursing staff and doctor then the lady who offered me a drink after surgery were caring supportive and charming, all there to calm and reassure, and advised on the next step, once back in reception I started to cough and the receptionist jumped up came to me to check I was ok got me water, and the experience in theatre with the doctor and staff was so calm and soooooquick thank you
I mostly had a good experience throughout, polite staff, Offered hot drinks, everything explained and all questions answered. However, on the day of my laser surgery the arrow drawn on my face to indicate which eye was to be lasered, was not removed on my being discharged. As you are waiting for a period of time you forget it is there but the staff can see it as they deal with you and see you out, so I suppose they find it funny - It's not! Shame, as this was a very negative ending to what would have been an otherwise excellent customer experience.
