Enjoyed our recent outing with friends the pub ambience was friendly and inviting. The addition of live music in the background was a bonus. We ordered the fish pie and sea bass which were both hearty and tasty well presented and Value for money as expected. It was a busy Saturday night, service was a little slow.

Live music nights are quality and it’s a great pub for an evenings drinks. Food is ok, certainly not worth the price point. Asked for vinegar, the bottle had flies in it. Asked for a second one, it’s had white mould in it. Gave up after then. All the staff are great, the drinks are decent if not slightly over priced. But the food is seriously lacking, especially compared to the cost. It’s a very good pub with a very average restaurant attached, but this isn’t reflected in the price.

Food was good, came relatively quick and decent sized portions. Had one of the sharing boards which was massive and a Dubai chocolate waffle which was amazing! Holly our waitress was so bubbly and attentive which made our first experience here amazing and will definitely be returning:)

Amazing food, tasting fresh and well cooked. If that's one complaint, it's the lack of air con, but only needed in the heatwaves, otherwise temperature is fine

Had a great time at this pub. It is very big with ample seating. The beer was excellent the ales are exceptional. The food was a slight let down however which was disappointing. I tried the fish finger ciabatta and the bread was quite hard and the batter on the fish fingers was oily. The dessert wasn't great either. Overall this is a very nice pub just slightly let down by the food.

Recently refurbed the place and it really is a stunning place to eat - great food and reasonably priced. Good choice of draught lagers too. Car park is easily accessible and plenty of space, friendly staff and an overall lovely atmosphere.

The Shrewsbury Arms is always a delight to visit. The staff are as friendly and welcoming as the food is generous and delicious. The pub always has a warm, cosy atmosphere and very importantly for us - dog friendly! Definitely recommend without hesitation.
