So, before covid, the GP was absolutely brilliant with only one or two odd problems on rare occasions. But now, they're useless. Booking appointments is practically impossible because you go to use the app and it's down, you phone up and they say "use the app" and if you say it's down, they pretty much just airball you. My dad, who is terminally ill, needs his blood pressure taken twice a day and when my mum phoned up on his behalf, the receptionist was rude and obnoxious. Telling her to either take him in his wheelchair twice a day to a place that now has at least a 3 hour wait time on a quiet day, or renting a blood pressure machine for 20 quid WITHOUT SPECIFYING if the charge was daily or weekly. We can't even get a doctor's appointment because the receptionists are either lazy, rude, or both. This used to be a great place to go if you needed even a regular check up. Now if you're ill, you have to have an appointment booked AT LEAST A MONTH IN ADVANCE. Oh I'm sorry, let me just schedule being sick for a month's time. Honestly ridiculous Since covid, this place has gone downhill. I don't want some half-arsed apology for the service, I want you to do better

Really really bad. This used to be a great doctors surgery. I had surgery on Tuesday and was advised by the nurse to book a wound check at my GP, which is this surgery unfortunately. No option for ‘wound check’ on the website so I call up. I’ve now been on hold for over AN HOUR!! 26mins at ‘position 1 in the queue’ Screw the wound check, can’t seem to get one of those. I’m now becoming convinced that someone is doing this on purpose to make us want a private healthcare system…..

I am giving this one star because of the receptionists. The receptionists are awful, they rush you off the phone and are very unpleasant. Also, every time I go to the GP, I see a different doctor, there’s no continuity or anyone who really knows my history, just new faces each visit. However, the doctors and nurses themselves, especially Nurse Tracy, are excellent. The reception staff really need to be addressed.

Unfortunately I have had to give a 2 star receptionists are very friendly also Tracy the nurse is lovely very understanding with those who suffer with mental health or those with disabilities like myself. However I am saddened to know that the Dr’s feel they aren’t able to help further with my condition this leaves me feeling extremely upset as I’ve been in pain daily since last year after trialing so many options meds also injections which have all failed to manage my pain local hospitals able to help with my condition I had messaged pain consultants advised by the GP however the waiting time is still long and I can’t be seen any quicker this leaves me feeling devastated I feel like I cannot go through this pain forever I am hoping Stanmore RNOH are able to help me from here otherwise I’m lost on options of what to do

No stars if I could !!! Absolutely shocking. Surprised they are still open. Rude receptionist can’t say much on the doctors as I haven’t been able to see one in 2 years !!!!!!!

I am totally mystified by the criticism posted by others. I have always found this practice, and its predecessor as The Orchard Practice to be really excellent. Helpful, patient and considerate staff, who manage to be helpful while under severe pressure much of the time. And all the doctors, nurses and other medical staff have been unfailingly polite, informative and responsive. Parking is limited which is problematic but this is hardly the fault of the Practice staff. Overall,i'm very very pleased and satisfied by the service I receive. Thanks You.

Get text message to contact gp for medication review plus on adverts /telly , say contact your gp if you are worried etc . Plus ring after 2 for test results . I rang and was 18 in the que , so I thought I will wait abit later perhaps this is their busier time . To find I was 14 in the que so not gone down much in a few hours . This surgery was better before it joined together with another practice within the surgery . So I have given up now . I do feel that it’s not always the surgery’s fault but far to many patients and to many people living in dartford so I guess dartford council have a big part to play in all this mess .

Reception staff are rude. To busy chatting to each other and treat patients like a burden for interrupting their conversations. Impossible to get through on the phones, when I got a private diagnosis for ADHD they acted like they'd been betrayed, turned their noses up and acted as though it's not a formal diagnosis. Took 12 weeks to be referred for depression and was asked if I'd considered just doing things that make me happy Unbelievable.

I put my prescription request in for 2 items in good time. Only 1 item at pharmacist. Try to ring them no answer. Took a stroll up there... Indignant look from reception interupting their conversation. I explained THEIR mistake. Triumphant response from reception.... Well you'll have to wait until tomorrow we dont have a Dr... of course, why would I think the surgery was open with a Dr at 12 on a Tuesday? Their mistake but me made to feel like I'm the one getting in their way. Causing them trouble. Getting to the point where I hate the NHS.
