A wonderful Gp surgery with professionals that care about your health. Always polite and ready to assist you. Very respectful. Dr Marks speaks to you, not at you. There is a friendliness amongst the other service users when waiting. Sometimes, you may have to wait a little longer but this is the same for all NHS Gp surgeries. Dr Marks is creatively proactive in wanting to ensure you obtain the best and correct medical advice and attention.

not only do you have to wait like an hour and a half for an appointment even if your super early, but the doctor is very dismissive. got told my eczema isnt bad at all so he cant help.... went to a different dermatologist and got told its extremely severe and im ay high risk of getting sepsis.

Been with this surgery many years and find that one of the receptionists Francine to be exact is rude and patronising and she’s never in the wrong.. the other receptionists are lovely and I’ve always got along with them. Francine does not have a clue about what she is doing and make many mistakes and cause stress and upset to patients me being one of them. Also doctor Marks isn’t any better you feel like your on a timer when seeing him I don’t think he generally cares for his patients and doesn’t have a warm nature about him I never feel satisfied when I walk out of his room I feel they have to many patients for one doctors surgery and need to be more empathetic and respectful to patients and not speak to them like they are five years old I am moving my doctors asap as I’ve had enough of this place!!!!

My partner and father-in-law have been registered at this surgery for a good few years and always had glowing experiences with Dr. Marks and while I find him to be great it's the receptionist who is letting this practice down. ON multiple occasions I have tried to get an appointment for my son, once at 8 months and I was yelled at down the phone from the receptionist for calling back as the Doctor is very busy and how dare I chase up the call back (which never came). I recently tried to get my son (He's 1 for context) an appointment for a suspected ringworm issue to which the receptionist refused to book an appointment and that I could get a call back later in the evening to discuss over the phone. As he was really poorly I took him round there and the Doctor very nicely gave him a quick look over. The receptionist proceed to barge in and have a go at us saying that we shouldn't have bothered as it's not a 'walk-in center' and she told us he would call us when he had the time. My son ended up in hospital the next day from tonsillitis which led to sepsis and we got told by A&E at Queens how lucky we were to have brought him in when we did. It's a shame to have to leave such a bad review as I think the Doctor himself is great but I'll be moving Doctors practices to find one that will have better care for my child.

Brilliant doctor mark and staff treats patients with so much care which is unbelievable. Evan managed to get appointment on same day.

The elderly receptionist with short black hair and glasses is shockingly ill-mannered, excessively rude and very unprofessional, i’m shocked that the surgery have still kept her on and not honoured anyones complaints, she is ill-mannered every time I make a visit when i’m sick and causes an unpleasant atmosphere for the rest of the patients in the waiting room with her absurd erratic attitude. When collecting an overdue report she had bluntly said not to contact the surgery and they will be in touch to review the overdue report whilst I am enduring an ongoing condition? I was outraged but did not want to cause a scene out of respect for the sick patients waiting in the room. I hope this review is taken into consideration and actioned otherwise it is very telling of who runs this practice. Absolutely still in awe, this had impacted my mood for the whole day

Extremely rude receptionist. Never answers the phone, Argues with you, talks to you like a child, has 0 people skills, and mocks young people in the surgery, makes you out to be a liar and she argues with the doctor infront of everyone. Yes they are a couple but why is it so hard to be professional. Leave your arguments for home. Also talk to people with respect. If you can't handle talking to people in surgery and on the phone then maybe being a Receptionist isn't the job for you.

Registering at this surgery should have been the caution I needed as we were given a time to come to do so but then spent an hour and a half waiting for the receptionist to take our forms, during which time we were just ignored. The building is very small and tired inside and there were a large number of people standing in the tiny reception area for over an hour as there are only a few chairs against a wall. The administrators seem chaotic and it appears that the surgery uses paper notes which are in disarray. My experience of trying to get help from this surgery was awful. I called 61 times(!) when it opened before I got through as the call just terminates if the receptionist is unavailable or on the phone. I explained (at about 08.10 am) that my 2-year-old was screaming in pain with constipation and this was had resulted in a prolapse previously so I wanted her to be seen. I was told the receptionist who answered couldn't book appointments so I needed to wait for a call back. I tried to call back several times through the day and couldn't reach anyone. Nobody contacted us until 21.45 (pm) and the GP just immediately prescribed suppositories (which I had already bought in an effort to help her). I wanted somebody to actually check my child over but this did not happen. She has subsequently continued to struggle with this and sometimes refuses to eat all day. I have no confidence that this surgery will attend to my child's needs and so am seeking to move to another surgery.
