I’ve received great physio from Lewis Morgan Physiotherapy over the last few weeks. My neck and back issues are much improved, thanks very much

After a bad nerve injury that required spinal surgery I was recommended to go to Lewis for physiotherapy. After an initial consultation he constantly brought up piriformis syndrome, which I don't have as I had a significant nerve injury requiring surgery and this was not a muscular issue. Beyond that he convinced me that it would be worth a shot and that I'd be getting a holistic treatment plan that would look at everything related to this and I believed I would be seeing a physiotherapist and I was handed over to another person. After 4 weeks of what was essentially just simple deep tissue massaging I found out that the person I was seeing was a sports therapist. He was a nice guy but he told me that was NOT a physiotherapist! I was very surprised by this and was quite disappointed as had been getting no real treatment to address my particular issues related to my injury. I was encouraged to keep swimming even though it was putting me into lateral shift, which was not being spotted week after week and was causing me significant back pain. After speaking to some colleagues who are physios they were shocked at this treatment, and I was not happy with this so I cancelled my last appointment and was guaranteed that I would get a call from Lewis but he never bothered to call. Personally, I think that taking £200 from a person who is in a lot of pain and then palming them off onto an unqualified person is quite wrong, and I would rather you would have said you don't have the ability/personnel to deal with this than to palm me off onto someone who by their own admission 'doesn't know a lot about this'. I have since been seeing a MSK physiotherapist on the NHS at King Georges hospital and they seem to have a much better understanding of what I need. If you are going to use this service, make sure that you are actually going to see a physiotherapist, because for that kind of money you deserve to see a qualified professional. Personally, I'd say avoid it all together and go and see an NHS one. Edit: I stand by what I wrote. If I would have been told I was seeing a sports therapist I would have gone elsewhere because I wanted to see a qualified physio who had experience in dealing with nerve injuries, not a sports therapist who by their own admission didn't have much experience with my injury, so there you go. I also never got contacted about, nor did I receive a refund despite the reply saying he would be happy to. Still avoid.

Turned up for my second physio appointment today, only to discover that my appointment was not on the system, although appointment date and time was written on a card by the physio and given to me during my first appointment. Due to my commitments and the physio being on holiday, next available appointment is in over 3 weeks time. Won't be using again.

In the Q4 2022, I visited the Lewis Morgan Physiotherapy clinic for my shoulder pain-related physiotherapy sessions, as recommended by my health insurance policy (BUPA). Although the physiotherapist was competent, my sessions never lasted longer than 15 to 20 minutes, and in one instance, lasted just 15 minutes (My sessions were supposed to last about 30 minutes.). I also had two appointments cancelled because my physiotherapist was down with Covid; I get that this happens frequently in this uncertain era, but what would have helped is a shorter waiting period for a rescheduled appointment; in both cases, I was told to wait for 2-3 weeks despite having reported severe shoulder pain.

Had treatment for an extremely painful lower back and glutes. Lewis is very professional and Knowledgeable but the treatment is done in a relaxed friendly manner. My treatment was tailored and modified to my symptoms which were assessed each week. All Covid precautions are in place and the environment is well controlled, there is also convenient parking in the public carpark very close to the clinic. Highly recommended.

I was a little worried trying to organise a physio session from Australia for my 81 year old Dad, not knowing what to expect. I am so glad I found Lewis Morgan physiotherapy. Nathan arrived promptly and had a fantastic demeanour, he put my Dad at ease instantly. The hour was extremely valuable for my Dad, who is now doing new exercises each day and his pain has completely gone. I highly recommend Lewis Morgan, both the physiotherapists and the coordination team.

Don't believe those one star reviews I have been visiting Lewis many times over the past years for various aches and pains and have always been given 5 star treatment. He is a great professional physio and you always feel at ease when your there.

I have visited Lewis on several occasions. The minute you set foot in the door, he puts you at ease with his friendly, but professional manner. He worked on my shoulder injury over several weeks, giving me massage, acupuncture and various exercises to do at home. My treatment went so well that I have rarely had any problems with it since. I would thoroughly recommend this practice to anyone.
