   From the start of our journey, we found it very difficult to find a pediatric neurologist with the relevant speciality that we had been looking for. We managed to find Dr Kayal Vijayakumar for what we think is a neurological problem that afew other neurologist just haven’t seen before or they told us they could not help us in anyway. From our first meeting she spent time assessing my child, asking many questions and the most important thing was actually listening to my child’s problems and concerns. Dr Kayal was very attentive to my child’s specific symptoms and have booked several tests to help establish the root of my child’s problems, which no one else had. She is such a kind person and I really feel confident that she will be able to diagnose the problem.

   I am incredibly grateful for all the support Dr Yiannis has provided to our family since our oldest son was born almost 6 years ago. I take both my children for regular check-ups with Dr Yiannis, and whenever we have needed specialist advice or treatment, we have always been very satisfied with the referrals Dr Yiannis makes. More recently, I have had the pleasure of interacting with Guillermina, the Occupational Therapist in the Childhealthy team, and I truly felt she went above and beyond, providing very honest and helpful advice.

   We have been working with Dr. Ellie Day and Guillermina Marquine to better understand and support our three-year-old son’s needs. Both have been incredibly warm, helpful, and understanding in all of our interactions, while also providing pragmatic and balanced guidance. Within minutes of each assessment, they were able to put our son at ease and engage with him in a genuinely fun and compassionate way. They made him feel special, valued, and celebrated for who he is, and never as though anything was “wrong” with him, which was very important to us as parents. During the OT assessment, Guillermina introduced several practical techniques tailored to his specific needs as he worked through each exercise. We’ve already incorporated these into his daily routines, and they have led to immediate positive outcomes, most importantly boosting his confidence and self-esteem. We would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Day and Guillermina to other parents of young children.

   Dr. Vijayakumar has been exceptional in helping with my sons care over the recent months. The whole process has been so smooth that its made our experience with something not so great, seem actually easier to deal with. The level of work that goes in to these appointments is outstanding and I could never thank her enough. I would also like to thank Beth, for numerous calls, back and forth emails and constantly being competent and reassuring. It is hard to find a place where everybody cares.

   We used the blood test only service for my daughter which was excellent and much cheaper than another private provider had been charging. We got the blood request forms sent to us quickly, we were able to get them done before school at The Doctors Laboratory in Wimpole street, and Dr Yiannis sent us the results by that evening.

   Dr Ioannou was strongly recommended by our Obstetrician and our friends. Of course without any hesitation we booked an appointment for our newborn daughter. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and really one of the greatest doctors I've met. I trust his opinion and I know that if I have a worry about my child he would be the first person I will call. He also put us in touch with other doctors for our daughter and then followed up with us. I feel relaxed with all my worries when I know that I have such an experienced doctor. Wonderful and warm experience from start to finish!
