   Receptionist Andrea was very rude and dismissive when I tried to book another appointment for a session at the children’s centre. Due to some confusion I attended the wrong session and she rudely kept telling me that I need to cancel the session after I told her I just found out it was a mix up and I already missed it so there was nothing to cancel. When I initially approached her she looked annoyed and said “this should be done over the phone” and “there was someone on hold and now they’ve hung up” as if i was bothering her. If you hate your job then just quit. UNPROFESSIONAL and felt very unwelcome. I spoke to the managers after to inform of this rude behaviour

   I wanted to donate some bottles and the receptionist said we only promote breastfeeding. The lady forgot mum's can pump their milk to give dad an opportunity to bound with their baby while they feed. Nevertheless, some babies are allergic to their own mother's milk, other mum's have health conditions which don't allow them to breastfeed. This preassure around breast feeding makes some mum's who can't, feel judged when they take a bottle out to feed their baby in a children centre.

   The staff at Barra Hall Children’s Centre are very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. This centre is managed very well. It is very clean and staff are always on hand to answer any questions. I would recommend this centre to parents with their children.
