   Attended here to met my midwife. Some staff very friendly others were miserable and don’t even say hello. Always a wait to see the midwife but she was apologetic and didn’t rush through appointments to make up time. Luckily she kept a copy of my maternity record as the hospital lost mines. Came here to have my child weighed before. Usually a quick in and out with no issues. Pushchair park outside. Usually full when I attended. Secure door so kids can’t run out and strangers can’t get in without talking to staff who ask why you’re there.

   Un-empathetic staff, make new mothers that struggle with breastfeeding feel like you are failing. Reception is brash and the whole clinic feels like a production line. The advice you get is the bare minimum and often what you already know. I was left dreading every visit and ended up weighing my baby myself and going to the GP if there were any issues. The service needs to be really looked at and improved.

   I attended a breastfeeding support group today and I found the staff at reception to be so welcoming and helpful and friendly, we also attended a play session afterwards for toddlers and the staff were amazingly warm and supportive and inclusive. I think it is one of the best experiences I've had as a mother in a children's centre. It was so so nice and I can't thank them enough!
