Dr. Yiannis is an excellent pediatrician! He is the doctor of both my sons. He is very thorough when checking them, at the same time he makes them feel very comfortable. He listens to all my questions and addresses them with patience and knowledge. Furthermore, his office responds faster to email/phone calls than any other doctor’s office I’ve encountered. I highly recommend Dr. Yiannis and his team. In addition to providing excellent care to my children, Dr. Yiannis also creates very useful medical and parental contents through his newsletters, website, and Instagram account. In addition to the great practice and information he provides, he also started very informative zoom Q&A sessions. On June 16, Dr. Yiannis held his first zoom Q&A session with the Childhealthy team and parents. The meeting was nicely structured between one part where he went over parental questions and the second part where he delved into medical questions. I really enjoyed how well rounded the meeting was, as he also focused on questions and advice on parenting, in addition to providing his medical expertise. I like that the first part was about parenting because it is always useful to hear from other parents' experience with their children and to hear how they deal with some issues. It’s a way to learn from others' experiences but also to feel part of a parenting community, and knowing that the hard things I am going through as a parent are also shared by others. At the same time it was also very nice to share in the meeting the joys of parenting, and bond with other parents about the beauty of raising children. The meeting also allowed me to hear other parents' point of view on how they deal with kids, pushing you to think in different more creative ways on how to help your child. The medical part of the meeting was also really useful. As a parent who often worries about my children’s health, the more I know about possible health concerns, how to spot them, what to do, the more it gives me a piece of mind, and also empowers me to give better care to my child and advocate for him. It was also nice to talk to a doctor about questions in a comfortable setting. This allows you to ask about questions you have that you might not think are serious enough to bring up during an appointment but nevertheless you want to have addressed. And you never know when what you think to be a harmless question might actually be a case that requires further investigation. I highly recommend Dr. Yiannis as a pediatrician. He cares about the health of your child, but also about the well-being of the entire family. I highly recommend subscribing to his very informative and useful newsletters, where he addresses timely medical questions, and definitely recommend participating to his future Q&A sessions!
Dr Ioannou saw my son to explore some health issues. We found him to be incredibly thorough with his investigations and truly the kindest, friendliest doctor we have come across. Exactly what you need as a worried parent, and exactly what you want for your child, to put them at ease.
